The words, thoughts and emotional experiences of Friske, who died in 2015, were published in a book written by him by a friend of the star Gennady Kurkin. The man noted that Jeanne wanted her words after her death to be conveyed to the majority and later read by her son.

In the same book, Gennady explained why Friske did not want to talk about her illness. The singer was convinced - to tell everyone about him means to accept the irreversibility of what is happening. It was scary. Until the last moment she hoped for a miracle and sincerely believed that one day she would wake up and, by chance, would be completely healthy.
