Iceland celebrates an unusual holiday on January 27 - Sun Coffee Day. The holiday received such an unusual name due to the fact that in winter, due to its proximity to the Arctic Circle and mountainous terrain, the country practically plunges into darkness. And if the first rays of the sun appear from behind the mountains, it means that spring is approaching, and with it - warmth and, of course, a good mood. And they greet the sun, having gathered together, with pancakes and always with coffee - hence the name of the holiday.
