Master Class:

Cut out two rectangles from colored paper with dimensions of 17x22 cm and 14x19 cm. For a large rectangle we take thicker paper, since this will be the basis of the postcard

Fold both rectangles in half and start working with a small rectangle

With a pencil, draw 2 strips of the same length, then 2 more and more, 3 cm, 1.5 cm and 2.5 cm high. The width of the strips is about 2 cm

We make cuts along the outlined lines and bend the strips as shown in the photo

We open the workpiece and bend the strips inward, set them aside for now

We cut out a Christmas tree in the form of a triangle from green paper, a snowman from white paper and a gift from black paper

With felt-tip pens, draw a snowman's nose with a carrot, eyes, a smile, buttons and pens

Round the corners of the gift, cut out a ribbon and a bow for it, glue all the details together

We grease the ascent of the steps with glue and just above the line of the lower bend on the first step we glue the Christmas tree, on the second - a gift and on the third - a snowman

Cut out snowdrifts from a strip of white paper, glue it

We glue the inside of the postcard with the characters to the cover. With the help of white gouache and a cotton swab, we make snow and also decorate the Christmas tree

On the front side of the card we glue a bow that can be cut out of paper or made from a satin ribbon

Volumetric postcard "Herringbone"

Master Class:

We take green paper or ordinary paper napkins, cut out 12 squares

We fold the squares in a pile, draw a circle with a diameter of 4 cm, fasten them exactly in the center with a stapler and cut them out

We make the edges of the cut out circle with teeth - just cut out small triangles

Then we bend each leaf up and get such a bud as in the photo, but it will not be a flower, but needles of the future Christmas tree. We make 5 more such blanks

We take red cardboard for the cover and a sheet of white paper. We fold it in half, glue the white sheet into the cover

From the outside of the postcard, glue the needles so that you get a herringbone

We make the trunk for the Christmas tree from a brown ribbon and glue a bow made of golden rope to the very top

We decorate the Christmas tree with multi-colored beads, and the card with snowflakes

On a separate piece of paper we write the inscription "Happy New Year!" and glue it on the postcard

We take one sheet of scrap paper and a simple sheet of colored double-sided. Using a colored sheet as a stencil, cut out the base for the postcard from scrap paper and fold it in half

A sheet of colored paper must be folded like an accordion. First, we bend it in half horizontally, then open it and bend the lower edge to the middle, and then again the lower edge to the middle. And we do the same with the other half

We unfold the sheet, bend the lower edge to the nearest line, then again the lower edge to the nearest line, and so we collect a small and even accordion

We apply a ruler to the accordion and make the following marks on it: 7, 13, 18, 22, 25, 27 and 28, 5 cm

In the designated places, we cut off with scissors and we get blanks for the Christmas tree 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1, 5 cm long

Now we open the base of the postcard and begin to collect the Christmas tree. We take the longest segment, coat one side with glue and glue it to the card, not reaching the fold of 3 mm

We take the next accordion in size, also coat it with glue and glue it 0.5 cm higher than the previous one. In the same way, at 0.5 cm from each other and 3 mm from the bend, we glue all levels of the Christmas tree. At the same time, we cut off several folds from the last accordion so that it is not so fluffy

We coat the second barrel of accordions with glue, then press each one with any flat object so that they do not open. Then we close the postcard, remove the flat object, smooth everything well

Cut an asterisk out of shiny paper and glue it

We decorate the card with sequins or any other decor if desired

It is better to use a glue stick to glue paper parts. From PVA, thin paper gets very wet, and after drying it is deformed, and the Christmas tree may not turn out very beautiful.

Stylish volumetric cards for the New Year

It is not necessary to use only bright colors for making New Year's cards. So, crafts using white, silver and darker shades look very unusual. We offer the most interesting, but simple master classes with step-by-step photos of stylish postcards for the New Year.

Idea number 1

The postcard will be square, it will need two blanks, one of which will be 5 mm less on three sides

On a smaller part, we make markings, at the place of the fold, draw 3 rectangles of different heights. It should turn out as shown in the photo

We make cuts along the horizontal lines, and we press the vertical ones with the blunt side of a clerical knife. We do the same on the other side

We open the sheet, bend it inward so that we get volumetric cubes. Cut strips from the mirror cardboard to the size of the cubes

Glue strips on each cube on both sides

In random order, we glue silver stars around the boxes and decorate the boxes themselves with them

We decorate the front side of another detail of the postcard with asterisks

We glue the two blanks together, just do not grease the cubes with glue

If you do not like these colors, then you can make a postcard from colored paper, but it is better to use materials for scrapbooking.

Idea number 2

We make a cover for a postcard from kraft paper

We take a regular sheet of white paper, cut out four strips of different sizes from it

Now we bend the sides of the strip so that we get a triangle, as in the photo, cut off the excess. We do the same with other strips

Cut an asterisk out of mirror paper

On the outside of the cover, first we glue the stars, and then all the details of the Christmas tree

You can supplement the card with shiny snowflakes and write any inscriptions with a black marker.

Idea number 3

We make a cover for the postcard, draw a triangle on its inner side. We cut out the exact same from mirror paper

We mark the triangle on the card into small triangles

Using a clerical knife, cut out small triangles on both sides and fold them to the outside

We glue the mirror triangle - a stylish volumetric postcard is ready

If you can't find mirror paper, then you can take glitter cardboard in silver or black.

Volumetric postcard with artificial snow

Do you want to surprise your loved ones with an unusual gift? Present a voluminous postcard, inside of which, like in a glass ball, snow will flow. Making such a postcard with your own hands is very simple.

Materials:

• cardboard;
• transparent sour cream lid;
• snowflakes;
• braid with rhinestones,
• ribbon;
• New Year's drawing;
• artificial snow.

Master Class:

Fold a sheet of blue cardboard in half, apply a transparent sour cream jar and draw a circle on it. With the help of nail scissors, carefully cut out along the contour

We print a New Year's drawing, but if you wish, you can draw it. We also draw a circle with a cap, cut it out

Cut the paper and felt snowflakes in half and glue each half to the cut out circle

We glue a braid with rhinestones around the perimeter of the cap

Glue the drawing inside the postcard, pour artificial snow on top. We fix the transparent lid with glue

Artificial snow can be replaced with semolina, sugar, sequins, sparkles.
