Yuri Antonov first appeared in public after a long illness

The composer and singer Yuri Antonov has not been published for a long time. In 2018, he suffered a knee injury, underwent major surgery, and then recovered for a long time. For the first time, the artist was noticed in public quite recently, at a closed gala concert dedicated to the third BraVo music award ceremony at the Central House of Writers.

Antonov complained that the rehabilitation process was very long. In addition, severe pain remains in the knee, and there is no change for the better. Several months have passed since that moment, and those around him noted that the singer looks healthy and vigorous outwardly. He smiled, posed for a photo, gladly gave interviews to journalists, talked with old friends and young performers.

It turned out that the composer felt much better after the last surgery. The severe pain no longer bothers him, but he is not completely cured. Now the rehabilitation process is underway, and Antonov feels, on the whole, well. He even moves without the aid of a cane, as it was before.

Recall that Yuri Antonov was married three times. He has two adult children: daughter Lyudmila from his last marriage and illegitimate son Mikhail. Despite the presence of heirs, during his illness, Yuri counted only on himself: no one helped him.

An elderly man lived alone in his country house near Moscow, was engaged in creativity and walked a lot in the forest, which is located next to the site. He admits that he felt quite comfortable. The only thing that upset the artist was the cancellation of all concerts and the temporary cessation of his singing career.
