Stress and troubles, from which we hang our nose, harm not only our mood, but also our appearance.

And finally, some diseases that are acquired by a person during his life also do not paint our neck. In diseases of the liver and organs of the gastrointestinal tract, spots of a yellowish color or with a red tint, resembling a mesh, appear on the neck. Similar consequences await sunbathers before sunburn.

We all the time forget to take care of the neck, limiting our worries about it only to the observance of hygiene. We groom our face with a whole arsenal of cosmetics, and leave chains, beads and the like for the neck. However, it is so important not to forget this very vulnerable part of our body! In order to keep the skin of the neck elastic, elastic and young as long as possible, it is necessary to devote several minutes to caring for it every day; sleep on a flat pillow; raise the chin high when walking; perform special exercises; cleanse the skin of the neck with the same products that are used for the skin of the face; lubricate it with a suitable cream - nourishing or moisturizing.

Some beauticians recommend daily hot wraps. I will allow myself to disagree with them, trusting the opinion of doctors. In developed industrial cities, the number of patients suffering from an enlarged thyroid gland has increased in recent years. And any thermal procedures can be not only beneficial, but also harmful. The safest thing to do is to make warm compresses with herbal decoctions. To do this, soak a towel in a decoction of linden blossom, tea, marshmallow roots or ordinary milk. Wring it well and wrap it around the neck for 15 to 20 minutes.

After washing your face in the evening, lubricate your neck with cream, and then pat it on it with a folded linen towel soaked in salt water in four times. After lubricating your palms with the cream, pat the chin with the back of your hand quite vigorously.

Another procedure for the neck: before a bath or shower, put some cream into the skin of the neck, and then wrap it in a warm, damp towel. Sitting in the bath, from time to time, dampen a towel with warm water. Such a compress rejuvenates the neck, which, as you know, has the unpleasant property of aging before the face.

It is great if you, while feasting on fruits, "treat" your face and neck, of course, having previously cleaned them of dust and cosmetics. It is enough just to grease the skin with a slice of banana, peach, orange, strawberry, grape, etc.

In the evening before going to bed, soap your neck (best with soap containing a cream), massage for a few minutes with a mitten or a soft brush in circular movements in the direction: chest - chin - left ear - chin - right ear. Then rinse your neck and, after drying the skin, use the moisturizer with your fingertips. After 15 minutes, blot the excess with a paper napkin.

There is another way. Every evening, after cleansing the skin with lotion or tonic, apply a nourishing cream (preferably with vitamin F) to the neck with light sliding movements with the right hand on the left side and with the left hand on the right.

If the skin on the neck slightly resembles goose bumps, then to give elasticity it can be wiped 2-3 times a week with fine table salt as follows. First, wipe the neck with olive oil or cosmetic milk, after which they take a handful of salt slightly moistened with water and rub the skin with it in circular motions until redness down from the chin and ear towards the collarbone (massage in the thyroid gland should be light). Then they make several hot compresses from fresh low-fat milk, after which the neck is rinsed with water and lubricated with cream.

Neck exercise

Maintaining a good shape of the neck, prolonging its youthfulness allows special exercises that do not require much time and effort of will, but give a noticeable effect.

- Place your crossed arms on the back of your head and tilt your head back, restraining it with your hands.

- Place your hands on your chin and lower your head, holding back with your hands.

- Lying on your stomach, tilt your head back and forth as far as possible.

- Slowly, without moving your shoulders, turn your head to the right and left 10 times, then fold it back and lower it forward, again to the right - to the left, then shake your head.

- Straightening your chest, place your hands on the edges of your shoulders and try to stretch your neck up as much as possible, pressing on your shoulders. The shoulders should not rise. Inhale, count to 10, exhale, then complete relaxation. Repeat 5-6 times.

- Straighten your head. Stick out your tongue trying to reach the tip of your nose. At the same time, make serpentine, wriggling movements with your tongue. Then take it away. Repeat 5 times.

- Yawn often, slowly and with pleasure. During this exercise, place your fingers on your forehead to avoid the formation of new wrinkles.

- Take a pencil in your mouth and "write" in the air at least ten letters of the alphabet.

Eliminate double chin

- Vigorously turn your head left and right 10 times.

- Cover the upper lip with your lower lip, tilt your head back and stay in this position for 10 seconds. After that, return to the starting position, relaxing the muscles. Repeat 5 times.

- Sit up straight, looking in front of you. Strongly straining the muscles of the chin, try, overcoming your own resistance, to throw your head back as far as possible. Maintain the position for 15-20 seconds. After resting, repeat it a few more times.

It is good to consolidate the performed exercises with a beneficial procedure for the chin and neck: soak a napkin in cold water and, slightly wringing it out, apply it tightly to the chin from ear to ear. After a few minutes, change the compress to hot and then in the same way alternate the compresses several times for 15 minutes.

Neck masks

Grind 2 hot potatoes, add the yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of olive oil, a teaspoon of glycerin. Apply the resulting mixture to a wide gauze and tie it around the neck. Cover the gauze with nylon and bandage with an elastic bandage. The duration of the mask is 15-20 minutes. The neck is washed with warm water and rinsed with linden blossom infusion. For better refreshment in the infusion, you can add 1 teaspoon of salt to a glass of infusion. This mask is recommended immediately after the compress.

Combine the egg white with a teaspoon of vegetable oil (almond, olive, corn) and the juice of half a large lemon. Apply for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water and rinse the neck with additional water at room temperature, or even better with linden extract.

Paraffinic. The paraffin is heated in a water bath. Then, having made a temperature test (on the back of the hand), it is applied with a brush to absolutely dry skin with a layer of 1, 5-2 cm. Carefully removed with a spatula. Masks are done two or three times a week, the course is 10-15 masks.

When preparing pies from yeast dough, you can select a piece and wrap it around your neck for 20 minutes. After removing the dough, rub the skin with lemon juice diluted with water (1: 3).

4 tbsp. l. finely chopped parsley pour 250 ml of hot milk. Soak a handkerchief in this mixture and put it on the neck. After the mask, they do not wash the neck, let it air dry and lubricate it with cream.
