New order of pension indexation

New laws from January 1 for pensioners will affect the indexation of pensions. Now it will be carried out only after the allowance to the subsistence level. Previously, indexation was carried out without surcharges.

Now employees of the Pension Fund will first have to check whether the payments were below the minimum wage. Indexation will be 6, 6% for non-working pensioners. Those who continue to work can still only receive a recalculation based on the experience gained.

Electronic work books

In 2021, the government plans to completely switch to electronic document flow between an employee and an employer. 2020 is a transitional period. The main change is filling out work books in electronic format. Employers will transfer information about the employee's experience to a common online database.

Advantages of the new document flow procedure:

  • no need to be present in the office to transfer information to the future employer during employment (convenient for people employed remotely);
  • when applying for a new place, the company can obtain information about the experience on its own by contacting the database;

Presidential allowance extended to 3 years

New laws from January 1, 2020 in Russia will improve the situation of low-income families at the birth of a child.

The government decided to increase the presidential allowance. These are payments that were assigned in accordance with Federal Law No. 418-FZ of December 28, 2017. Previously, they relied on families in which the first or second child was born from 2018-01-01.

According to the old order, the allowance was paid only to those families in which the average per capita income was 1, 5 and less than the subsistence minimum in the region. The amount of the allowance is the subsistence minimum for a child in the region of residence. Funds were paid until the child reached 1, 5 years old.

2020, the conditions for the payment of the presidential allowance have been changed. Now the allowance will be allocated until the child is 3 years old. Those who have an average income per person in a family of 2 or less living wages will be able to receive support. In other words, the entry threshold has decreased, and the duration of deductions has increased.

Now the veteran category will include participants in the hostilities in Dagestan, which took place from August to September 1999.

Producers will be able to obtain confirmation that the product meets the concept of "organic" through voluntary certification. Products that pass inspection will be marked with special badges to help customers find an environmentally friendly product.
