After reading reviews on articles on weight loss, I was horrified - what poor women do not do to get rid of their noble forms: they eat only vegetables, and eat only black coffee for breakfast, and "medicinally" starve, and eat pills in handfuls. And the result is most often the same and very sad: "I lost 10 (5, 7, 12) kg in two weeks (three days, a month), and now they, dear ones, have returned again and brought another 2 (4, 10) nasty kilo, help me what to do, etc."

I have no medical education, but as one of those rare lucky women who managed not only to lose weight, but also to preserve their new beautiful body, without feeling either deprived or sick, I want to share with all women how to give myself an ideal figure and perhaps a new life …

The story of my struggle for beauty, I think, is familiar to many people to tears: dissatisfaction with a couple or two of roundness at a young age, which after a couple of years of regular and most diverse "proven" diets has already led not to one, but to a dozen unnecessary kilograms. And one day I decided to lose weight … forever.

First of all, I threw away all women's magazines and books like "how to lose weight by eating at night", "chocolate diet", "8 kg in three days" and began to study materials written by nutritionists and professors of medicine. The time for great revelations has come for me.

Who is yo-yo?

Why do all the pounds lost with such difficulty immediately stick back, you just have to stop starving yourself? The circuit is simple and ingenious. Roughly speaking, we are made up of muscle and fat; muscle burns calories, fat stays on a rainy day. The less muscle, the less calories are burned, and the more is deposited in all sorts of unsightly folds. It would seem that to stop eating for a couple of days, and the puzzled organism will have no choice but to use all its reserves, and we will continue to live happy and thin. But the fact is that when our body does not receive nutrition at all, or receives insufficient amount of it, it does not immediately go into the emergency supply. And the sugar necessary for all processes is taken from the muscles. And if there is also not enough protein, then the muscles literally melt.

For example: a woman who, in her usual way of life, burns 2000 kcal, decisively goes on a diet; due to unbalanced nutrition, her muscles have slightly decreased, and now they burn 1200 kcal per day; she, happy that she lost a couple of kilograms (not knowing that mostly due to the muscles), returns to her put 2000 kcal, i.e. in ignorance consumes 800 kcal more per day, which in exactly 10 days turns into a kilogram of pure fat (8000 kcal) !! And what does she do? Wondering why this happened? No, more often than not, she just goes back to her "magic" diet and … gains pounds.

What to do? First, eat 1 g of protein per kg of body daily, i.e. if you weigh 65 kg, you need to eat 60-65 g of protein per day. Secondly, either keep the existing muscles in good shape (exercising, jogging), or (ideally) even increase them a little (gym, swimming pool, intense exercise).

Breakfast: to eat or not to eat?

If you think that skipping breakfast or drinking only a cup of coffee contributes to weight loss, then you have been cruelly deceived. This is what is approximately happening to the body, which was deprived of breakfast: the liver quietly supplies the body with sugar all night, which it entered the day before. It usually lasts for 10 hours, after which it becomes alarmed and waits for a supplement; if there is no supplement, sugar begins to flow … again from precious muscles. This process stops as soon as you smell food, or see it and are going to eat it soon (the brain persuades the liver to be patient a little).

But if you don't have breakfast, the liver works in an emergency mode and when you finally eat something, the blood sugar level rises sharply, a large amount of insulin is produced, and a significant part of what you ate is "put in reserve" so that this very emergency mode was no longer repeated. So eat breakfast to your health, especially if you haven't eaten after 6 pm.

Note: if you have to get up very early because of work, then a plentiful breakfast, on the contrary, will not bring any benefit; in this case, it is better to eat, for example, yogurt, or drink a glass of milk, and later organize a "lunch".

Hunger is a mixed feeling

In the brain of every person there is a cherished part that is responsible for the feeling of hunger. The principle of its operation is very simple: it monitors the level of sugar in the blood; the less sugar, the more you want to eat (that's why masochists who arrange weekly fasting cease to feel hunger somewhere on the third day - the body realized that it will have to cope on its own and slowly burns fat and muscles (!), maintaining a constant minimum level). Alcohol, sweets and white bread are champions in the content of simple sugars that are instantly absorbed into the bloodstream. So this is what happens after you eat something sweet: your blood sugar rises sharply, after which the same huge dose of insulin is released to process this sugar. With which he very, very quickly copes and … makes the sugar level that you had before you ate this unfortunate chocolate bar even lower. Those. you will want to eat even more. Therefore, snacking on a bun, chocolate and even fruit (it is better to eat fruit for dessert right after a meal) is a sure way to ruin everything. What to do? If you eat three full meals a day, your blood sugar slowly rises and slowly drops, and you don't feel outrageously hungry. If you need to have a snack (well, you just don't have the strength to endure until lunch or dinner!), Then a boiled egg, a few crab sticks, a little low-fat ham, yogurt are the best you can think of.

If you suddenly realized that you can no longer live without a piece of chocolate, or this awesome cookie, eat it to your health, but only during a meal (best with tea at breakfast) - protein, fiber and everything else that is together it turned out to be in the stomach, they will slow down the absorption of sugar and nothing terrible will happen (I advise you not to abuse this indulgence).

Another feeling of hunger can be caused simply by a lack of water. According to statistics, in 9 cases out of 10 a woman thinks that she is hungry, when in fact she is thirsty! Drink a glass of water, maybe everything will pass.

And finally, hunger may appear due to a lack of some elements (vitamins, minerals, amino acids and something else). You can eat five bowls of fried potatoes and three chocolates, and you will still want to eat, because these dishes did not supply you with nutrients.

What to do? Eating on the principle of less and better + be sure to take (no matter how balanced you eat, a diet is a diet) vitamins. The best thing to drink is brewer's yeast, it is natural, inexpensive, and in addition to a huge amount of vitamins, it also contains almost all the necessary minerals and rare amino acids. But if you drink synthetic vitamins, it's still better than nothing.

Skinny means beautiful?

Often after losing weight, a woman looks worse than she looked before, moreover, regardless of age. The hair was dull, the skin looked unhealthy, and, horror, there were disgusting stretch marks on the chest and thighs. All these troubles can be avoided if you drink vitamins (see above), eat regularly and correctly, move and DON'T LOSE TOO FAST so that the skin adapts to new volumes. And I would also advise you to drink lecithin (in granules or capsules), it is not very expensive, natural, and besides the fact that it lowers your cholesterol level (usually they drink it for this), it also prevents the formation of stretch marks, which for many, I think, news.

With all these diets, I completely stopped going to the toilet

The question is burning and very important. Usually, during a diet, a woman eats less, unfortunately, often drinks less and, as a result, goes to the toilet much less often. But all those extra pounds that you want to get rid of do not disappear by themselves, all these nasty things must be removed from the body. Therefore, in addition to what you eat, you need to drink 1.5 liters of water a day, and in summer all two. The feces are mostly water, and therefore it is often enough to drink enough to solve this problem.

Note: the first glass of water should be drunk in one gulp 10 minutes before breakfast, i.e. got up, drank it right away (you can cook it in the evening), and then get dressed, get ready … This is the habit that must be kept for life). But if you drink a lot, but you still don't go to the toilet every day, then you need to eat more fiber (what it is and where to find it, I think, any weight loss fan knows) and buy a pack of wheat bran (they are inexpensive too), this is like this husk that you put in muesli, in yogurt, in soup, in a salad - it's tasteless. If you drink a glass of water before breakfast, you will forget about the problems with going to the toilet once and for all.

I know everything about diets, and about nutrition, and that physical exercise is necessary, and even what you do not know, but I’m not losing weight …

Tips to eat less and better, try to move more, drink one and a half liters of water, not eat after six, replace mayonnaise with low-fat sour cream, and candy for apples is a thing, no one argues, good, healthy and correct. Especially if you want to maintain a healthy weight. But only if your weight is far from the desired norm, you need just fantastic willpower so that, thanks to minor changes in nutrition and habits, you can significantly lose weight. I have no such willpower … And I am not alone, I think. Therefore, in my deep conviction, one must first purposefully lose weight, and then just keep track of such things so that they do not get better anymore. And in order to lose weight, you only need three things: stimulus, diet and exercise.

Stimulus - this is not only an abstract "oh, I would lose weight", it is a whole system of measures that will help you turn into you-ideal with maximum efficiency and minimum mental trauma. There she is:

1) First and foremost: WEIGHT-TARGET. To determine it, all sorts of tables are not your friends, the only one who knows your ideal weight is yourself. Maybe you are looking longingly at a photograph from two years ago, where you are "Miss Bikini" somewhere in the south; maybe you were in your best shape on your wedding day. In short, you remember how much you weighed then and set yourself a clear lens: "My ideal weight is 50 (54, 62 …) kg, I will return it soon" - and until the scales show it, strictly follow the instructions below. You can mark it in red on the scales, you can use lipstick on the mirror, or you can in your cherished notebook: it is important that you know what you are striving for, because losing weight or "but losing a couple of kilograms" will not lead to anything. And if this figure looms before your eyes all the time, the subconscious mind will begin to rebuild the body for this (if it is within the reasonable, taking into account the constitution and age) lens. And the arrow of the scales will creep to the left …

2) Visual stimulus: firstly, choose "measured clothes" (I had super-chic jeans, bought by eye and not buttoned up despite my, as I thought, size), take pictures in it (how much you fit) and keep this picture until D-day, when you reach your ideal and make another one for contrast. And save both of these pictures for the future, so that it was discouraging to launch yourself. Secondly, either hang your old photographs all over the house, where you are in shape (if the situation in the house does not allow, stick it in a special notebook), or not your own, but photographs from magazines that will stimulate the best weight loss motives in you. …

3) The icing on the cake: Promise yourself a new super haircut, or a solarium membership, or awesome lingerie that you will give yourself as soon as you achieve the desired result. All this for you, slender and cheerful, will go very, very much …

Diet - this is what you will eat during this epoch-making experiment. From the above facts about nutrition and the work of your body, it follows that the diet should be varied, with a sufficient amount of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, from which your hair will not get out, stretch marks will not appear, constipation and hunger will not occur, but quite effective so that the weight does not melt slowly, but surely. And inexpensive, because three pineapples for breakfast and shrimps for lunch is for Sophia Loren. Yes … The good news is that there is such a diet!

1) You take three meals a day + 1 snack (either after breakfast or after lunch, i.e. afternoon tea) Break between meals 3-4 hours (for example, breakfast at 8, snack at 11, lunch at 14, dinner at 18).

2) Drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day (count tea and milk, no soup), if it's hot, then two. First glass 10 minutes before breakfast. Buy a small bottle (0.5) of mineral water with a convenient lid, and carry it everywhere and everywhere with you (you can fill it with tap water in order to save money).

3) Drink brewer's yeast (or other vitamins), lecithin and add bran to everything you can.

4) Get yourself a notebook in which you write down what you ate and drank (it is more convenient to count), and at first, until you get used to it, and a plan for tomorrow, for example, "eat this and that for breakfast, drink before lunch 0.5 liters of water.. ". You can also place all your "measured" and stimulating photos there, write down there once a week (for example, every Sunday), weight-waist-hips. Such daily self-control is a very good tool against those who like to give up on everything.
