As previously found out by experts, champagne has a beneficial effect on health. In particular, experts at the University of Reading found that the drink is rich in polyphenols, plant chemicals that dilate blood vessels, increasing the concentration of nitric oxide in the blood. As a result, the stress on the heart and brain is reduced. A small amount of champagne can relieve hypertension.

Last month, nutritionists, especially for girls who are worried about a slim figure, which is not easy to maintain during the holidays, suggested a champagne-based diet.

The meal plan is to consume 1 to 2 servings of champagne per day, while maintaining a healthy diet. The nutritional strategy does not imply constant malnutrition, however, consumption should still be limited to 1200-1400 calories per day, which should come mainly with nutritious, high-quality and tasty foods.
