Once a man of about 45 came to the office where I worked. As it turned out later, he was the deputy director of one of the largest foreign firms in our city. Taking his card, I put it aside in my wallet for"

If you think that one can easily and a lot to earn in foreign companies, then you are deeply mistaken. There are divisions between foreign firms: in Turkish, Chinese, Vietnamese and similar firms, which themselves are just emerging from the Middle Ages, managers have no idea about labor legislation, that there is an 8-hour working day, overtime pay, etc..; and if we take the firms of developed countries: German, Austrian, etc., here everything is in order with the working hours, and with the payment.

I still remember my first day, which started at 07:30 am and lasted until 8 pm, with a tiny lunch break. After the first day, I understood why the secretaries at this firm changed at the speed of light. In the evening, carrying my lifeless body to bed, the only thought flashed in my head: "Everything, the Turks are over!" But in the morning, my overdeveloped Ego decided for me that I was not like everyone else, and I must overcome this obstacle, otherwise what is my price ?! It is my Ego, and not the Turks, that I hate, because that morning and all subsequent ones it lifted me out of bed and dragged me into this heat.

How is the relationship between the manager and his subordinates built? In a Turkish company, the leader is God and the sovereign, and everyone, whom his gaze falls on, must prostrate himself and kiss his feet, or, at least, stand up when he appears and lower his gaze, simultaneously agreeing with everything that your sovereign says …

Everyone is trying to get into overlords: the director over the deputies, the deputies over the engineers, the engineer over the secretaries and guards, the Turkish guards over the Russian guards. At first, everyone tried to pose as a boss, but I quickly figured out the hierarchy of leadership, and there were fewer and fewer people who wanted to portray the boss.

All the Turks have successfully overcome the language barrier, communicating with our beautiful and, unfortunately, easily accessible girls. So, out of a sense of politeness, I just had to learn: "Good morning, good evening and bon appetit", which I did on the very first day and, with a sense of accomplishment, threw the dictionary into the back drawer for subsequent secretaries.

As for office romances, no matter how hard the director tried, he could not overcome this area. Outwardly, there was nothing to complain about - all relations were so veiled that a mosquito's nose would not undermine, but in fact, as in "Santa Barbara" - everyone slept with each other. Especially impressionable ones even risked to walk in the second circle.

I waited long and hard for my beloved leader to appreciate me and raise my salary, as promised. But either I tried badly, or the director had something with his eyesight, but he did not want to notice my efforts. And then, tired of waiting, I myself went in and reminded him of my person. I didn't have to say much, they kicked me out the door right away. And after 5 minutes the accounting department congratulated me on the increase and quite solid one. Such miracles also happen in our company.

Over time, I got used to this kind of work, got used to the staff, which, in general, was friendly and original, we had our own traditions, our own habits. And now I do not go to work with such horror. So my Ego is satisfied.

In general, dear reader, if you agree to work 11 hours a day, six days a week, without holidays and vacations, forgetting about family, entertainment and personal life, then the doors of Turkish firms, and other foreign firms, will always be open for you wide open!
