On Sunday, in Los Angeles, Madonna began her world tour, the first in two years. There was everything from the wild enthusiasm of the fans, and the stunning costumes from Jean-Paul Gaultier, and the crucifixion of the diva on the cross, and the insulting attacks against George W. Bush and the sexual tricks that she has been using in her career for 20 years.

For two hours, the 47-year-old pop diva played songs from the new album "Confessions on a Dancefloor," as well as a couple of old hits like "Like a Virgin," "Ray of Light" and "Lucky Star."

Among the VIP guests of the concert were Madonna's mentor in the teachings of Kabbalah Rabbi Yehuda Berg, Nicole Ricci and gay icon Rosie O'Donnell.

12 hours after Madge's concert, the Anglican Church criticized the singer.

"I think she just can't come up with anything really new," says the president of the Catholic League, Bill Donahue. "Poor Madonna is still trying to shock us. But now, what used to be original looks boring and fanatical."

No response has yet been issued from Madonna's representatives. Surely they are coming up with something new.
