But suddenly a mysterious Woman, played by Hilary Swank, appears and reveals to the girl the terrible truth - there are still people on Earth, and machines, like the Mother robot, are guilty of the extermination of all living things and do not seem friendly to humans at all. And the most terrible discovery is that the girl-daughter is just another experiment of the "iron" Mother, because the remains of the same past "unsuccessful" daughters rest in the furnace in the form of ashes.

It is difficult to imagine what the girl feels at this moment, but it is then that the most interesting, incomprehensible and confusing begins. As the dynamics and development of the plot accelerate, the viewer has a growing number of questions to the scriptwriters, he wants to stop the picture and comprehend what he saw.

So who is this Woman who violated the idyll of the Robot and his Child? Here are some theories:

• She has been living on a destroyed planet for a long time and became the first experiment of a mother robot that managed to escape. After she was raised by a human family, they were killed by droids, and when the Woman was left all alone, in despair, she decided to return to the bunker.

At the end of the film, reality is bursting at the seams, everything changes dramatically, and the girl has to grow up quickly - it's time to fulfill her destiny, which the robot Mother prescribed to her

About the actors

The cast of the film Robot Child (2019) turned out to be unusual. The viewer will never see Luke Hawker, who played the Mother, in his real role, just like Rose Byrne, whose voice is spoken by a caring iron machine.

Clara RUGOR (Daughter) was born and raised in Denmark. Her childhood was spent in Copenhagen. At 12, she starred in a production of Annie at the prestigious Det Ny Teater.

The actress has appeared several times on the Disney Channel. In 2016, she starred in the TV series Polar Star, but her role as Juliet in the ABC television series Woven by Fate was really promising.

On the big screen, Rugor has appeared in the adventure comedy MY AFRICAN ADVENTURES and in the drama GRACE. She also voiced the lead role in the Danish localization of the Disney cartoon MOANA
