Brazil. There are so many natural, historical, architectural sights collected here that you can endlessly describe and enumerate them.
Everything is so large-scale, grandiose and impressive that it seems that this happens only in the cinema. Yes, Brazil is truly wonderful, but we have collected seven of its main wonders.
1. Rio de Janeiro
The first thing that comes to mind when you hear "Brazil" is definitely Rio de Janeiro. Rio is a year-round dancing city, immersed in rhythmic music, all in lights and bright costumes with feathers. This, of course, is an exaggeration, but there is some truth here.
The carnival has really become a symbol of Rio and Brazil as a whole, it is so loved not only by the townspeople, but also by people from all over the world that it already has about two million participants.
This is incredible, because it only passes four days a year before the beginning of the Easter Lent. Four days and the whole Rio “lights up” right on the streets, moving in the rhythms of samba, breathing in the hot air of this country.

2. Statue of Christ the Redeemer
Another large-scale symbol of Brazil and Rio de Janeiro is the statue of Christ the Redeemer. The monument was erected for nine years, it was made in parts and delivered to the Corcovado mountain, at a height of more than 700 meters. Jesus with outstretched hands - why from a distance the figure looks like a huge cross - blessing looks at the city stretched out in front of him. The scale of the statue is striking - the height of the structure is 38 meters, and the arm span reaches as much as 28 meters. The view from the top is such that it will take your breath away!
3. Amazon
If we talk about amazing and unique creations of nature, then there are enough such places in Brazil to say with confidence: "now I have seen everything." Take the familiar Amazon from the pages of a school textbook. The world's largest river, surrounded by an impenetrable rainforest, captivates with its natural, untouched view, a variety of flora and fauna. It is home to more than two and a half thousand species of fish and unique animals, such as a 300 kg bull shark, a bloodthirsty piranha fish, a pink Amazonian dolphin, and an anaconda water snake.

On the shore, there are nimble hummingbirds and monkeys weighing less than 100 grams - and this is only a small part of the animal abundance. And the vast forests of the Amazon are called the "green lungs" of our planet for their scale.
4. Iguazu Falls
Another wonder of the world is the amazing Iguazu Falls. 275 waterfalls of various lengths and heights, but equally impressive beauty, will not leave anyone indifferent.
Unusual faults and depressions in the ground, creating a unique relief of the waterfalls, were formed in this area about 130-140 million years ago.

An interesting feature of the entire complex is that it is in constant "movement". Maybe the carnival in Rio and the local love for dancing are to blame for the fact that even a waterfall cannot stand still? But seriously, in 20 thousand years the waterfalls have moved 28 km away from the place where they were before.
5. Lencois National Park
Has anyone seen lakes drowning in desert dunes? You say - it looks like a mirage. And you will be right: it may be just a mirage somewhere, but not in the Lencois National Park.
Here, snow-white sand dunes rise up to 40 m in height, and between them there are pristine lakes of amazing beauty, like oases from a wonderful dream. Air masses constantly move the dunes from place to place, so any landscape seen here is unique.

6. Coffee plantations
Just imagine: the territory of Brazil is huge, this country is in fifth place in terms of area among all countries in the world! Now imagine - 1/5 of Brazil is set aside for coffee plantations. There are countless of them here - tiny family trees for a couple of dozen trees, small private and huge, from which the world's largest companies buy raw materials.
Every Russian coffee lover, when brewing a traditional morning cup, most often uses the Brazilian crop. For example, it is there that the Finnish company Paulig, a company with a 140-year history and one of the leaders in the Russian natural coffee market, buys a significant part of green grain. Why there? Almost all Brazilian coffee grows quite low, due to this, and the grain has a low acidity. The country's climate contributes to the fact that almost all coffee is dry processed - this gives the drink a pleasant sweetness, density and nutty-chocolate notes.
7. Salvador
Salvador is a city of happiness, it is sometimes called the "key to Brazil", since it was here that the history of the country, the history of football and carnivals, originated.
They say that after visiting Salvador, you can define your feelings for Brazil.

It is difficult to remain indifferent to the unique architecture with mixed styles, to the beach line over 40 km long, to the absolutely relaxed and carefree life of the locals, to dancing and fun. And the bay with blue water, sheltered from the wind and waves, seems to protect from everything that can distract from the enjoyment of happiness.
