Barbra Streisand congratulated her husband on her anniversary

On Sunday, Barbra Streisand congratulated her husband James Brolin on their 20th wedding anniversary, leaving a message on social media.

The singer, who turned 76 years old, recalled their first meeting 22 years ago, marking an important date for living together. She posted a photo of them together and wrote, “Is it really 22 years since our first date? Married for twenty years. Happy anniversary to you, dear."

Barbra previously recalled how their first date with her husband went. “We were on a blind date. I was expecting a huge man with a monstrous beard, and he had his hair cut and was clean-shaven, - says the singer. “I asked who mutilated his hair. He later admitted that it was at that moment that he fell in love with me. He likes to hear the truth, which is quite unusual."

James himself admits that family counselors helped them to save the marriage. “I believe in counseling and the need for it for those who have problems in their marriage. We need someone else to figure it out,”he says. “Sometimes a marriage can be tricky, it’s hard to figure out the relationship, but if you try, it’ll work out.”
