The name of the upcoming ambitious project is "Challenge". Casting for the role of the main character took several months. Thousands of candidates took part in it. Representatives of all professions were invited to the casting: actresses, engineers, pilots, etc. The main role went to a professional actress.
On May 13, the Roscosmos commission announced who will go to the ISS. Such an honor fell to the 36-year-old actress Yulia Peresild.
Actresses Svetlana Khodchenkova, Svetlana Ivanova, Olga Kuzmina and other stars entered the casting finals, but the management chose Yulia Peresild.
The audience knows the star thanks to the popular films "Bride", "Battle for Sevastopol", "Gloomy River". Julia went through not a simple casting, but a real selection for astronauts, showing her excellent health.
Soon, the star will have to experience all the nuances of cosmonaut training. Yulia is expected to spin in a centrifuge, fly in zero gravity and other hard training.

The film by Klim Shipenko is being developed by Channel One together with Roskosmos. The plot has not yet been disclosed. It is only known that in the film a young female surgeon, due to some circumstances, will have to be in orbit, although she did not plan this at all.
