36-year-old actress Yulia Peresild will soon go to the International Space Station, where the film "Challenge" will be filmed. The star reported that she is suspending her theatrical career in order to fully focus on preparing for a flight into space.
Channel One together with Roskosmos will shoot a film, the working title of which is "Challenge". The filming process will take place not in a pavilion with a green screen, but in real space. The team, led by director Klim Shipenko, will travel to the International Space Station in October 2021.
Out of 20 applicants, actress Yulia Peresild was chosen for the main role. It is known that the star of the TV series "Gloomy River" will stay on the space station for 12 days. Together with Shipenko and Peresild, actress Alena Mordvinova and cameraman Alexei Dudin will go to the ISS. The team's flight date has already been determined - October 5, 2021.
Julia Peresild told how she is preparing for a flight into space. Subscribers asked the star questions on her Instagram account, and she happily answered them. For example, the actress announced that she has now temporarily suspended her theatrical activities in order to fully concentrate on preparing for the upcoming filming. Also, the star refused vacation.
“The progress is not bad. We are already passing the tests. Until 4 o'clock in the morning we have physical preparation, training, a lot of new information , - said the star.
Julia devotes almost all her free time to physical and theoretical training. The film crew is studying the structure and onboard systems of the Soyuz transport manned spacecraft. Because of this, the actress is now less likely to see her daughters: 12-year-old Anna and 8-year-old Maria. The star also noted that she is scared to fly into space, but preparation helps to cope with all the bad situations that can happen there.
