If you intend to wash a bamboo pillow, you must follow these guidelines:

• washing in the machine is allowed at a temperature of no more than +40 degrees;
• the filler is best washed using liquid powders. Choose products for delicate fabrics;
• the pillows should be dried horizontally;
• it is forbidden to use any bleach;
• spinning must be discarded.

Bamboo pillows have medicinal properties and should not be dry cleaned. After treatment with reagents, they lose their beneficial effect. The pillows are dried horizontally by turning them regularly. They cannot be rope dried using clothespins. In this case, the fibers can become clumped.

How to wash holofiber pillows in a washing machine

Holofiber bedding withstands any test in a washing machine. For synthetic fibers, a temperature regime of up to 50 degrees is selected. But even at 80 degrees, the filler does not deform or deteriorate. The contents of the pillow do not need to be removed from the pillow case. You can send everything to the machine together.

How to machine wash feather pillows

Bedding can be washed in the washing machine. Swan fluff tolerates water procedures well at a temperature of no more than +30 degrees on a delicate mode. The special technology for making the filler allows the fibers to recover immediately after washing, remaining soft and fluffy.

Other fillers

There are other pillow fillers that have their own processing characteristics:

1. It is not recommended to wash pillows with buckwheat husk. They are periodically ventilated and dried in the sun. The contents of the pillow can be sieved twice a month through a colander.
2. Silk-filled pillows cannot be washed. They are given to dry cleaning. Manufacturers claim that parasites do not grow in silk fibers. It is enough to regularly change pillowcases and dry the pillows in the sun. If the filler contains only 30% silk, it can be machine washed. But spinning is prohibited.
3. Cotton wool is not the best filler. Such products cannot be washed, since moisture leads to loss of shape. When dirty, cotton pads are knocked out and dried in the sun.
