Moscow's social life flourished: while the party-goers were choosing between the RFW and Moscow Fashion Week, which coincided this year, the luxury exhibition Millionaire Fair started in the city center, promising visitors "the most anticipated party of the year." In an era of crisis, however, as it turned out, it is quite dangerous to carry out such events.

The last days of RFW have become notable largely thanks to the "Italian Day", which presented the public with a show of the famous brand C'N'C Costume National (you can find photos from the catwalk on the page that all fashionable girls want to wear, including me. All fashion trends: rock and roll, hard forms - all this was shown, and I think that everything will be relevant next summer. But what amazed me, and not only in C'N'C, is what all the designers offer us extremely dark colors, black with slight inclusions of some other muted color.

- Do you like bright colors?

- No, everything has its time. This summer I wanted to dress brightly, now I want something more subdued. I do not exclude that next summer black will be the most popular color, and I will wear it too.

Aurora herself came to the show in gray clothes - not from C'N'C, however, but from the more democratic TopShop, and with a Roger Vivier clutch.

But her colleague Daria Subbotina did not like the show.

- Little bright. It's all very pale somehow,”she complained to“Cleo”.

Millionaire Fair, the annual exhibition of millionaires, which began the next day (Friday 23 October), was held under the banner of a crisis. It’s even surprising that the organizers didn’t abandon the event this year. Although it was slightly modified: instead of the traditional Crocus for the fair, the exhibition was placed in the Manezh exhibition hall, and the duration was reduced by three times - instead of a week Millionaire Fair now it's only the weekend.

“People want to live well at any time,” commented Elena Ishcheeva, who came to the exhibition accompanied by her husband.

And yet, the time of crisis turned out to be not the best to brag about their millions - after all, the population still continues to lose jobs, and the number of people who find themselves below the poverty line is steadily growing.

In such conditions, it would be better to lie low and not ride your Lamborghinis yet. And certainly not to hold an exhibition under the walls of the Kremlin Millionaire Fair, only one entrance to which costs about 10 thousand rubles.

Activists of the National Bolshevik Party decided to express their indignation at the exhibition: right in front of the Manege building on the second day of the exhibition Millionaire Fair they staged an unauthorized rally, at which they first offered visitors to buy hazel grouses and pineapples for a million dollars, but, of course, received a refusal, they began to throw them at the Manezh building. "Damn you all!" the crowd shouted until the riotous youth were stopped by the police.

However, the fair of millionaires this year turned out to be not so "millionaire": here much less than last year, there were presented really expensive goods such as sports cars, yachts and helicopters.

On the contrary, most of the exhibition space was occupied by stands representing goods and services aimed at improving health. Various clinics, medical centers, healthy food and spa treatments seem to have completely absorbed the attention of today's millionaires. Trend? Let's hope.
