Recently, a woman in Egypt demanded a divorce from her husband. There would be nothing surprising in this, if not for the reason that she indicated in the statement. The woman wanted to divorce because she was not satisfied with the smell of her husband. Her husband Ali only bathed twice a year, and without using soap. The judges who conducted the divorce proceedings did not believe the woman at first. However, when her faithful appeared in the courthouse, from whom a terrible fetid smell emanated, the decision of the judges was unanimous: to divorce the poor woman as soon as possible.

We decided to compile our own hit parade of the most unusual divorce proceedings.

3rd place. In the United States, after the tragedy of September 11, 12 divorces occurred at once. The reason was rather strange. The fact is that the firefighters, who were carrying out rescue work at the scene of the tragedy, were getting divorced. Brave rescuers decided to be heroes "to the last": they divorced their wives and married the widows of their dead comrades.

2nd place. A couple of years ago, Russian girls found another reason for divorce. It turns out that if the spouse is still at university, the sessions are very bad for family relationships. And often, after the examiner's signature on the record book, the student puts his signature on the divorce petition.

1st place. A resident of China divorced his wife because of the dreams that his wife saw when she slept. The woman constantly dreamed of snakes, and she told her beloved husband about these strange dreams. Her now ex-husband was seriously puzzled by this story, and he decided to turn to the interpreter of dreams. There he read that snakes symbolize a lover. The man made a logical conclusion that his wife was giving him horns and filed for divorce.

However, it is not as difficult to come up with a reason for a divorce as to carry out the procedure itself. In Russia, for example, divorce proceedings last from three months to 15 years.
