Who is eligible for the surcharge

In his address to the Russians on May 11 this year, the head of state Vladimir Putin told which of the employees of social institutions are entitled to additional payments:

• doctors;
• junior medical personnel;
• technical staff;
• social and educational workers.

These categories of citizens will receive federal surcharges for 3 months.

Vladimir Putin said that all social workers who are fighting coronavirus infection can count on a special federal supplement from April 15 to July 15.

The head of state explained what caused such a decision to introduce additional payments. Employees of social organizations are at risk and carry an increased workload during the coronavirus epidemic.

Vladimir Putin noted that social services workers will also receive the funds due in April this year.

The amount of surcharges

The President of Russia stressed that the federal surcharge is set for three months: from 2020-15-04 to 2020-15-07. The amount of payments, depending on the category of the employee, will be as follows:

• 40,000 rubles for a 14-day shift - for doctors working in social institutions;
• 60,000 rubles - to doctors who help those infected with the coronavirus;
• 25,000 rubles - for workers in the social and pedagogical spheres;
• 25,000 rubles - for medical and administrative personnel of the middle category;
• 35,000 rubles - to medical and administrative personnel of the middle category, provided that they provide assistance to infected people;
• 15,000 rubles - for junior medical workers;
• 20,000 rubles - to junior medical staff, if their work is related to the care of those infected with coronavirus infection;
• 10,000 rubles - for technical specialists;
• 15,000 rubles - for technical employees, provided that they are in contact with those infected with COVID-19.

Back in early April this year, the head of the Russian state issued an order to introduce additional payments for three months in relation to specialists in contact with infected with coronavirus.

Thus, the President of the Russian Federation instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to allocate reserve funds to make payments for employees of social institutions in connection with the coronavirus epidemic. The categories have been determined who are entitled to surcharges, as well as how much you can get in 2020.

Additional funds can be counted on by doctors, nurses and nurses, technical staff, pedagogical and social workers.
