The presentation of the new collection of jeweler Stephen Webster in Moscow was excellent. Much higher: last Thursday, the entire Moscow elite gathered on the 21st floor of the Lotte Plaza shopping center, in the Kalina Bar club. In addition to demonstrating his new jewelry, the designer's task was to promote a luxurious cigarette case commissioned by Davidoff. Many celebrities took their places in the front row in advance, apparently in case diamonds flew generously from the stage (Webster did indeed promise precious gifts for the brightest Russian stars).

Svetlana Konegen, Dusya Konegen and Voldemar Konegen came long before the start of the event. And it’s not in vain that they came, I must admit. The table of each VIP guest was richly covered with Japanese cuisine, fruits and sweet delicacies, and caring waiters made sure that the guests' glasses did not empty, pouring Crystal champagne into them.

Konegen's husband fed the dog Dusya rolls straight from his plate. Julia Dalakyan, sitting at the same table, looked at this picture in bewilderment, lazily sipping juice. Obviously, the designer was bored, and Julia left the restaurant before the event began.

- I'm not a party girl, all these night gatherings are hard for me. - justified Dalakyan, leaving Kalina-bar. - I'm serious, tomorrow I have a working day. I am in my boutique from morning to evening, I meet clients myself. And in general there is a lot of work, the regime …

The rest of the guests turned out to be inveterate party-goers and by eleven in the evening they had just begun to gather. Even the hero of the evening, Stephen Webster, arrived at his presentation only an hour after the official start of the event. Many already began to get bored, but instantly perked up when the presenter of the presentation, Andrei Malakhov, appeared on the stage and began to speak in his well-placed voice:

- Good evening, good evening, we are delighted to welcome you to Stephen Webster's presentation. Let's greet the maestro! Stephen has a Russian wife, and he visits Russia so often that he has long since become Stepan Stepanich!

"Styopa" went on stage with a personal translator and part-time wife Asya and greeted the audience in broken Russian.

- Stephen did not want to voice the cost of this unique cigarette case, he was modest. But I can't resist, - Malakhov did not stop. - Its price is 30 thousand euros! Many Russians have half the annual income. There are only 100 cigarette cases in the collection, they are unique, so hurry up.

At that moment, the whispers of socialite were heard.

- Maybe buy your own as a gift? a tall blonde with huge lips said to her friend.

Webster himself, after a welcoming speech and a short impromptu DJ set, retired to his lounge-zone and did not appear again. Still: what are our stars to him when Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Madonna and Guy Ritchie are his friends.

While Malakhov continued to speak on stage, a two-meter figure of Philip Bedrosovich Kirkorov appeared in the hall. He was dressed in a peculiar punk-rock style, and his head was crowned with a red beret. From under the beret peeped out a growing "hedgehog", on which intricate stripes were shaved.

Seeing Kirkorov, Malakhov tried to shift the responsibilities of the presenter onto him:

- Now Philip Kirkorov will congratulate Stephen Webster, please come to the stage!

But His Majesty politely declined. The king of the Russian stage said that he stopped by for only 10 minutes to pick up the promised gift cufflinks, and in general he was "tired, wants to sleep and will leave soon." But the party turned out to be so fun that Philip Bedrosovich left two hours later. Perhaps he was gladdened by the appearance of Dima Bilan, who took a place at the table next to him. All evening Kirkorov and Bilan whispering about something enthusiastically, not paying attention to those around them. And they left Kirkorov and Bilan arm in arm, laughing merrily. Kirkorov did not wait for the cufflinks, but he joked about the topic:

- Yes, as usual, money in the morning - chairs in the evening. At least write down the address - bring them home to me. In general, everything was organized well. The people are so stylish.

- That's for sure, at least everyone was sitting at his own table, - confirmed Bilan.

Producer Dima Yana Rudkovskaya was not at the presentation, which is strange, because she is a well-known lover of expensive jewelry. The reason was the malaise of the singer's husband, Evgeni Plushenko.

But the rest of the secular crowd kept arriving and arriving, it became crowded. Zhanna Friske reluctantly posed for photographers, and Nadya Skazka, on the contrary, was cheerful and danced to the incendiary music:

- I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t use … - Tale shared with the correspondent of “Cleo”. - It remains only to dance. But many come to eat and drink, to receive gifts. By the way, do you have any gum?

TV presenter Archie came with a new girlfriend, and the whole evening the couple showed their tender relationship to others. The famous artist Daniil Fedorov also came to the event with a companion, but the girl spent the evening alone, as her friend needed to lead a social life and be the center of attention.

Ksenia Sobchak surprised the audience the most. Entering the restaurant, she quickly slipped through the line of photographers.

- No need to photograph me! - Sobchak lamented. Ksenia appeared in the image of a film star of past years - in a strict dress, large pearl jewelry and an exquisite hat in the style of the 30s. She categorically refused to sit at the table with Kirkorov and Friske, fled deeper into the hall and was later seen in the company of the ubiquitous Andrei Malakhov. Then Sobchak disappeared somewhere. The drunken guests assumed that the socialite jumped out the window: no one saw her leave the event.

Arkady Novikov and his wife Nadezhda were short-lived guests of the evening. On this day, the most famous restaurateur of Moscow also hosted a significant event - the opening of a new fashionable White Cafe, a result of the joint efforts of Novikov and designer Anna Muravina. The club opened almost opposite Kalina Bar - on Novy Arbat, so it is possible that many guests ply from one event to another.

The very same collection "10,000 Leagues Under the Sea", to which Webster was inspired by the novel by Jules Verne, was presented in a narrow nook, where it was impossible to get close - the wives of the Russian oligarchs covered the windows with a dense wall.

The guests dispersed closer to midnight, disappointment was read on the faces of many - only a select few would get Webster's gift cufflinks. Only Dusya Konegen was clearly pleased with everything: she had enough of California rolls and, together with her perky hostess, went to hang out further.
