Recently, Georgian designer Maria Maturelli turned the space of "8 columns" on Vozdvizhenka into a real celebration of high fashion and culture of Georgia. Maria invited guests to her private show of the Spring-Summer 2014 collection Obsessed.

The inspiration for the creation of new models was the Georgian saint - Queen Tamara. Her human qualities and feminine beauty, interpreted by Maturelli, became incredibly feminine and striking images. In the kaleidoscope of prints and textures, we could see a little of the temperament and of Mary herself - colorful floral ornaments, the finest lace, monochrome skirts in the new look style and incredible chiffon outfits - all this became a whole picture of the feelings, experiences and impressions of the designer.

Maria Maturelli herself commented on the collection as follows: “In my fashion show, I wanted to emphasize the aristocratic style. The image of my heroine is the image of a strong, domineering woman who achieves everything, but at the same time she is tender and vulnerable on the outside."

The guests who came that evening could not only appreciate the collection, but also plunge into the atmosphere of Georgia - dancing in national costumes, a floor strewn with rose petals, and exquisite Georgian cuisine and wine.
