In addition to the Russian "I Stay" and "May", on April 19, several foreign films will be released. Among them there are very "tasty" ones. It remains only to find time for all these spectacles. The most beautiful premiere of the week is undoubtedly the fantasy "Tales of Earthsea" by Japanese Goro Miyazaki. This is an animated film adaptation of the novel by Ursula Le Guin "The Wizard of Earthsea", which is famous for its vivid, detailed and written down to the smallest detail worlds. Plot: the fabulous land of Earthsea is in danger. Dragons that inhabit the Western Reach unexpectedly appear in the east, in the realms of the people. The Archmage goes to look for the root cause of the trouble, and meets Prince Arena, who committed a grave sin - he killed his father. Together they arrive in the capital North Town, where they stay at the House of the White Lady … And then everything is mysterious, intricate and magical, as it should be in a fairy tale.

Another oriental film is the tragicomedy "I Don't Want to Sleep Alone" directed by Tsai Ming-Lian. It's about the salvation of a homeless Chinese man Xiao-kang and his passions with benefactors. As in his other films, Tsai invited actor Li Kang-sheng. He plays as many as two characters - a homeless man and a paralyzed young man.

The historical action film "The Last Legion" by Dag Lefer takes us to the remnants of the Roman Empire in AD 476. The last emperor, 12-year-old Romulus Augustus, is imprisoned by the barbarians on the island of Capri. The child's task is not easy - to save the country and restore the dynasty. To do this, Augustus needs to escape and go to the shores of Britain - to lead the Ninth Legion, loyal to Rome. The film stars Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley, Aishwarya Rai, Peter Mullan, Kevin McKidd. This is the usual "cinema by formula" - a high-quality picture, but not too deep in essence. Suitable for relaxation.

And of course, there are new nerve-chilling films this week. "White Noise 2: The Shining" by Patrick Lusser about how the hero was suddenly able to figure out those people who are threatened with death. He tries to save the doomed, but for the disturbed balance of life and death it is necessary to pay … A film with a claim to philosophy of life.

The scariest film of the week is Stephen Hopkins's The Harvest. Hilary Swank, David Morrissey, Idris Elba, Anna Sophia Robb, Stuart Greer, David Jensen, William Ragsdale are involved in the movie. The lady, famous for her ability to debunk religious myths, went to the wilderness of Louisiana. The goal is to investigate events that are strikingly similar to the biblical curses brought to life. From here on - everyone tremble … Pregnant and overly impressionable do not look.
