Reading about the results of regular scientific research, you come to the conclusion that almost everything in this life is caused by the play of hormones … For example, scientists from the British University of St. Andrew declare that female beauty is nothing more than the level of estrogen in the blood, everything else is little things.

For a month and a half, the researchers photographed weekly women between the ages of 18 and 25 participating in the experiment. In women, the level of hormones was determined and the day of the menstrual cycle was noted. Not a single woman used cosmetics or contraceptives. Scientists have selected photos taken at the time of the highest concentration of estrogen in the urine. As expected, the highest estrogen level coincided with ovulation. Then the pictures were shown to independent experts - men and women (also aged 18 to 25) and asked them to evaluate the attractiveness and femininity of the study participants depicted in the photo.

The same group of experts was asked to evaluate two composite images. The first was compiled from combined photographs of ten women with the lowest "peak" estrogen levels, and the second was from photographs of ten women with the highest estrogen levels.

Estrogen, which tends to rise during ovulation, affects bones and skin. The production of the hormone is largely dependent on hereditary factors.

As a result, there was a clear correlation between the level of estrogen and the degree of attractiveness of each of the women, since, according to most, the most beautiful girls were those who had a high level of this hormone in their blood. This served as proof that attractiveness depends on fertility. The amount of estrogen produced during puberty, which usually lasts seven years, is largely dependent on hereditary factors. The hormone affects bone growth, tissue formation, and the appearance of the skin.
