When asked why Ruslan suddenly decided to turn to a famous composer and record a song, the athlete answers simply - he was inspired by love. The man said that during the pandemic, he and his wife indulged in "youthful-romantic emotions" and again felt how close and dear they are to each other.
The producer and composer Daria Kuznetsova herself also told why she decided to work with the Kuban bodybuilder.
“As they say, in a healthy body there is a healthy mind. And in the case of Ruslan - in a beautiful form - a beautiful voice with a very pleasant timbre. Ruslan is a father of many children, a businessman, one of the leaders of the Boxing Federation in the Krasnodar Territory. He is not indifferent to issues of youth and childhood. He is a faithful family man, he adores his wife and dedicates this song to her."

Why did you decide to sing?
- The desire to sing, make music from my youth, from school, when I first sat down at an impromptu drum set from tin boxes from imported cookies.
How did you meet Daria, how did you work with the star author?
- I am very glad that I had a unique opportunity to work with Daria Kuznetsova. Until the recording at the studio, we communicated only by mail and phone, we did not know each other personally. But I already understood what kind of person he was, with what level of artists she collaborates and what a great responsibility lies before me. I was very worried, worried that something would not work out, that I would disappoint … I was preparing for the recording, I was engaged in vocals. As a result, the entire recording process went quickly and clearly.
What are your further creative plans? If you wake up famous tomorrow, will you leave sports for music?
- No! Sport is a way of life. It's like breathing. Sport is my air …. And when you sing, as I understand it, air is very necessary!
How do you manage to combine sports, business and creative activities?
- Sometimes I ask myself this question! (laughs) This is my pace. Probably thanks to sports, because it tempers and disciplines.
