Correspondent: Anna, you have many honorary titles on your account. Do you remember why you first decided to try your hand at a beauty contest?

Anna Kudryavtseva-Siradze: For the first time, the idea to take part in the competition appeared spontaneously. I enjoyed motherhood, but, like all young mothers, my life revolved around everyday life, a baby, diapers and diapers.

Once, while reading another article on the Internet about the benefits of vitamins for young children, I saw an advertisement for a casting for the Mrs St. Petersburg competition and an interview with its organizer Natalia Rogova about the prospects for the participants. And then I thought: "why not?" I got up the courage and applied. Soon I was contacted and invited to the selection. This is how my acquaintance with the world of beauty contests began.

Correspondent: Any beauty pageant is a place with a high concentration of beautiful women. How do you feel about competition?

Anna Kudryavtseva-Siradze: A beauty contest is a concentration of several dozen beautiful women. They are all bright, smart and confident. But this is the beauty of such contests. Competition forces you to keep yourself in good shape.

After the beauty contest, many participants lose weight, start going to the gym, take care of themselves even more carefully and listen to their own desires: to live not only for the sake of the family, but also for themselves.

I will not hide the fact that it is scary and exciting to see so many beautiful rival women in one place. By the way, we have never been in conflict with each other, but, on the contrary, supported each other. They rejoiced at success and empathized with failure. This is a real experience of working in a large team.

Correspondent: Have you ever doubted your abilities?

Anna Kudryavtseva-Siradze: There have always been doubts about our abilities. Each of us. The only person who does not doubt our uniqueness is our mother.

And yes, of course. It was a shame when something didn't work out. Many times I wanted to drop everything and leave, but support always appeared on time.

Correspondent: Admit it, are you comparing yourself with your competitors?

Anna Kudryavtseva-Siradze: Comparing yourself with others is a normal thing for every woman. We always want to be prettier, smarter and more successful. Comparison gives me an incentive to develop. In general, being in such a competitive environment, you learn to be more tolerant of yourself.

Correspondent: What advice would you give to those who want to increase their self-esteem?

Anna Kudryavtseva-Siradze: It is very difficult to increase self-esteem while sitting at home. In order for you to have something that was not there before, you will have to do something that you have not done before. Adequate self-esteem and respect for oneself appear through leaving the comfort zone and overcoming one's own fears and complexes.

Therefore, I want to advise women, especially mothers, to stop being afraid and not put ideas in a distant box. If you start losing weight, then not from Monday, but from this minute. If you go in for sports, then not after buying an expensive gym membership, but at home. You need to live here and now. It is useless to listen to someone else's opinion and meet someone's expectations. Reflect less: we pull ourselves together and do it. And everything will work out!
