How to take care of your feet?
How to take care of your feet?

In the summer, we women show our bodies as much as possible to those around us. Bare shoulders, put on dresses with deep neckline, open legs. Moreover, to demonstrate the latter, we use a whole arsenal of "auxiliary means": shorts, mini-skirts, transparent fabrics, deep cuts, sandals with thin straps on stiletto heels, neat pedicure, etc. And men still pay attention to all this, although they sometimes try to look calm and almost indifferent.

Whom do they want to deceive? It is enough to type in the search engine the phrase "female legs", and you will immediately find an insane number of links to sites on which boys, uncles and grandfathers excitedly discuss this particular part of the female figure. And they not only discuss, but in all seriousness boast of photographs of the bare feet of their wives and girlfriends, and also present photo reports on the topic "How I spent my summer" with the lower parts of the body of unsuspecting unfamiliar girls caught in the frame. Look, maybe your legs are there too?

So what am I talking about? And that you can't disappoint men. They must continue to be conquered. And in this we should not be hindered by the typical summer problems that prevent our legs from walking beautifully and easily. Here are some tips, how to take care of your feet:

I remember all your cracks …

Clogs and summer flip flops that beat the rhythm on our heels to the beat of walking, heat, dry wind, water procedures, after which you sunbathe in the scorching sun, sand and dust - all this contributes to the roughness of the skin on the heels, peeling and the appearance of painful cracks. There are several ways to deal with this:

Baths. It is best to start with them all procedures related to the legs. Soda baths are made as follows: a couple of tablespoons of soda are dissolved in 1.5 liters of not very hot water. It is enough to keep your feet in such a solution once a week for five minutes. An ugly sandpaper defect can be corrected by keeping your feet in a warm starch bath and then brushing your heels with a soft brush.

Pumice stones, stones, pedicure brushes. After the feet are thoroughly steamed in the bath, carefully clean the keratinized upper layer of the skin on the heels with a fine-grained pumice stone or a special pedicure brush with stiff bristles. Choosing a pumice stone is easy. If it does not crumble in the hands, then it is quite suitable for processing feet.

Scrubs. Once a week, you can clean your heels with a special foot scrub. Apply a small amount of scrub to a flat pumice stone or oval file and rub the heels well with light circular motions, then rinse it with water and repeat "sanding" again.

Creams. After water and exfoliating procedures, the skin of the heels must be softened and properly moisturized. Which of their foot creams is right for you personally - you can only determine empirically. Someone claims that only excellent German cosmetics are saved from peeling the skin of the legs, someone prefers inexpensive Russian creams with calendula extract, someone can use a foot cream of any company, but only with tea tree oil. But among dermatologists today, the most fashionable heel cream is an aftershave cream with vitamin F.

Folk remedies. Scald a small head of onion several times with boiling water, cut it in half, attach the halves to the heels, wrap it with plastic wrap on top, bandage it and leave it overnight. In the morning, remove the remnants of the onion, rub your heels thoroughly with a pumice stone and brush with a fat cream, rubbing it in a circular motion. Just two or three procedures - and the skin on the heels will become soft and smooth.

Fruit masks. In summer, fruit is quite enough to not only gorge yourself on them, but also to make masks for different parts of the body, including the legs. Natural fruit acids have exfoliating and moisturizing properties.

Mash pitted apricots in a bowl with a plastic fork or knife, add 1-2 drops of olive or other vegetable oil, mix thoroughly and put on low heat for 3 minutes. Apply a warm mask to your heels, place a small piece of plastic on top and tie with a bandage. Lie with this mask for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water. If desired, you can lubricate the heels with a nourishing cream.

Lubricate and massage your heels with lemon pulp. You will be very pleased, and the heels are so good … In gratitude, they will become noticeably softer and more tender.

Petrolatum. Pure petroleum jelly is very good at softening deep cracks and moisturizing the skin. Steam your feet in hot water with a little boric acid (1 teaspoon per glass of water) and apply a layer of Vaseline on the cracks, then apply a patch to keep the Vaseline on the skin and leave it overnight. The next day, repeat the procedure and do this until the cracks disappear completely.

But this is not necessary. Having started the skin on the heels to the strongest coarsening, you do not need to frantically begin to rub it with a pumice stone with large pores. This only injures the skin of the legs. It is better to engage in heels often, but little by little, and the effect will not be long in coming.

Favorite corn

Summer calluses are most often found on the little toes or big toes from narrow or not worn shoes, as well as in places where the feet are tied with thin straps. Calluses (coarse areas of skin) usually appear on the feet of those who often walk in heels, due to excessive stress on the front of the foot.

Folk remedies. A favorite folk remedy for eliminating calluses is garlic. The clove is pounded, mixed equally with lard and smeared with a sore spot. Another option: a peeled clove of garlic is applied to the steamed corn and fixed with a plaster.

Foot massage. To get rid of corns from time to time, you should do an energetic massage with a fat cream. Warm up some fat cream in your hands and massage your feet with gentle kneading movements. This massage will not only increase blood circulation, but also improve overall well-being.

Treat especially "tenacious" calluses with corn liquid purchased from a pharmacy and seal with a special corn plaster.

If funds allow, it will be superfluous to purchase a special device for a pedicure, which grinds and gradually removes corns using rotating discs.

But this is not necessary. Cut off calluses and corns with a blade. In this case, they will reappear in the same place, only they will be even rougher and more noticeable. In addition, cutting can lead to injury and infection.

My poor tired legs

In the summer, the legs get tired no less than in the winter, and besides, we now force them to walk much more often. And although everyone knows that walking is good for health, by evening, your legs ache and buzz treacherously. What to do, how to take care of your feethow to help them?

Contrast baths. This procedure will take no more than ten minutes. Prepare two basins: very hot and very cold water. Put your feet in hot water for 1, 5-2 minutes, then in cold water for 15-20 seconds. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times.

Herbal baths. Warm pine bath relieves fatigue of legs. Add 15 mg of pine extract and two tablespoons of sea or ocean salt to a deep bowl of water. Lower your legs for 5-10 minutes. In the same way, you can make sage, lavender, chamomile baths.

Rescue ice. In the summer, be sure to keep ice from herbal decoctions in the refrigerator - this is an indispensable tool for caring not only for the face, but also for the legs. For example, if your legs are swollen and buzzing in the evening, prepare a bath for them with ice cubes from frozen decoctions of chamomile or mint (pour them directly onto the bottom of the basin and immerse your legs for a while). You can also use plain ice - only in this case, drop 2 drops of menthol oil or lemon juice into a bath with ice cubes.

Exercises for the legs. The simplest thing is to lie down, put your feet on the nearest wall and lie down for 20 minutes. The puffiness will subside, the legs will buzz "quieter". Here are some more exercises. Sitting on a chair, raise your legs and make circular movements with your feet. Repeat 10-15 times. Now bend and unbend your toes. With your thumbs, grab a piece of fabric or pencil, lift it up and place it on the floor. All this will improve blood circulation, relax muscles.

Foot baths. A good solution to the problem would be to purchase a special foot bath (cost on average from 1200 to 3000 rubles), which will relieve stress and tension thanks to a combination of massage, heating and the effects of bubbles. They usually come with several types of attachments, an exfoliating pad and a set of aromatic oils. Foot baths are produced by manufacturers such as Rowenta, Philips, Ufesa, Babyliss.

Cooling and soothing gels. If you have to constantly walk in heels, and your feet invariably buzz by the end of the day, you cannot do without cooling gels. Their active ingredient - menthol - will have a refreshing and pleasantly cooling effect in 20-25 minutes.

And here, how to take care of your feet generally? All year round, especially in summer, go barefoot as often as possible! Immediately upon arrival at the dacha, at the sea, in the village to your grandmother, throw off your sandals, shoes, sneakers and go on - over the sand, pebbles, grass, earth! Feel the earth, nature with your feet, merge with it! At first it will be unusual, scared (what if I hurt myself?), And then it will pass and lightness and carelessness will appear. Moreover, there are many points on the soles that are "responsible" for the health of internal organs. When you walk barefoot, you massage them and not only enjoy but also improve your health. In addition, a barefooted girl looks unusually touching and sexy in the eyes of a man, but isn't this a weighty argument?
