Leading and journalist Ksenia Sobchak at one time found herself at the center of many scandalous incidents. The acrimony and categorical nature of the star has become the talk of the town. Ksenia quarreled with colleagues, exposed stars and politicians, fought with tabloid journalists. And now the star is drawn to philosophy.

Ksenia decided to appeal to fans with an appeal to gossip less. And by her own example, she explained why fictions and speculations about public figures are so popular with a certain kind of public.

“There are thousands of men walking around the city who allegedly slept with me and even lived, several people who saw how I begged Putin to forgive me for all my sins, there is a woman who allegedly wrote a letter to Mikhalkov“FOR”me, and 6-7 doctors who performed plastic surgeries on my nose, jaw, eyes and, apparently, my head. And, of course, there’s just a huge number of people about whom I supposedly said something wrong and who don’t like me for it in absentia. And with all this you just have to live. People constantly come up with something. They are people. They want to appropriate others' successes, debunk myths and assert themselves at someone else's expense,”says the star.

According to Sobchak, it is useless to fight gossips. But it’s better not to get involved in this.

“Why is any gossip so disgusting? Because a person becomes completely defenseless. They always gossip behind their backs, inventing amazing stories about you, attributing words that they did not say and actions that they did not perform. And the only thing that you can oppose to all this shit is silence and the absence of signs of indignation … After all, if you react, it’s like "there is no smoke without fire." And what to do? Tolerate".
