We all know that happiness is near. But few manage to stay happy and peaceful for a long time. Tibetan monk Matthieu Ricard, known as the happiest man on the planet, assures that it is not difficult to find inner harmony. It is enough just to adhere to a few fairly simple rules.

Happiness is a skill that can be developed, Ricard is sure. To begin with, you should think about good things for at least 15 minutes a day. But comparison with others should be abandoned, since this does not in the best way affect a positive attitude.

Try to be kind. And ideally, you should be an altruist, and then inner harmony will appear by itself, the 70-year-old monk explained in an interview with GQ magazine.

As the media remind, a few years ago, a monk, who was born into the family of a French philosopher and now lives in one of the Nepalese monasteries, took part in a study at the University of Wisconsin. In the course of the study, several hundred sensors recorded the state of a man during meditation. The study found that the level of gamma radiation emitted by Ricard's brain indicates a state of absolute happiness. And what is most curious, scientists have not previously recorded this.
