TV presenter, actress and singer Alena Kravets decided to tell how Russian oligarchs are going through a period of self-isolation. It turned out that many of them bought all the essentials, including ventilators, and now while away their days in their "ruble houses".
Now Alena Kravets is a regular at the parties of the "high society". She lives with her daughter in a house on Rublevka, which her ex-husband Ruslan Kravets left for her. The girl decided to share her observations about how local oligarchs spend their time in quarantine.
According to Alena, Russian millionaires rushed to hide from the coronavirus in their houses, which were previously empty.
“Domestic nouveau riches were scared of the pandemic and rushed back to their small homeland from all their possible foreign possessions. Now they are quietly sitting in their villas, stocked up with everything they need, including ventilators. Oddly enough, now almost all previously empty houses are re-populated by the returned owners,”says Alena.
Kravets reports that he considers the return of the oligarchs to Russia a positive consequence of the quarantine. But even six months ago, no one could have imagined that the world would be tightened by the "sticky" veil of a pandemic. And if earlier our millionaires preferred to rest abroad, now they hastened to say goodbye to their "flimsy emigrant status."
Alena also said that the most difficult thing now is for representatives of small businesses. Entrepreneurs are forced to pay their employees a salary, while they receive practically no profit.
Kravets also mentioned that the pandemic affected creative people, to whom she considers herself. According to the girl, she lost most of her income. Now she has no concerts, many advertising shootings have failed and work in the cinema has been frozen. Therefore, the star has to save money and greatly reduce costs.
Kravets hopes that the pandemic will end soon, and the economic situation in the country will improve.
