From time immemorial, women and men have shared responsibilities in the family and society. In the Stone Age, a man hunted for food, and a woman kept the fire in the cave and looked after the children. This division was not accidental - it is due to the psychology and physiology of the sexes. A woman, by her nature, spiritual and hormonal, is more stress-resistant, non-conflict, patient and gentle. Attention and nurturing, caring and learning are what she does better than her partner. Hard physical labor has always been the prerogative of men. Therefore, women spent most of their lives at home. Of course, today the situation has changed radically, and ladies work almost on an equal footing with men. This cannot but affect their health. There are "work" diseases to which women are primarily subject.
But let's continue about history. The patriarchal situation did not change for a long time, until equality was established in the first half of the 20th century. And then, attractive prospects opened up for women not only in the form of the opportunity to vote, but also to choose the job that they like.
Alluring prospects opened up for women not only in the form of the opportunity to vote, but also to choose the job they like.
Of course, not all women rushed into the mines to get coal or fix railcars. In addition, as far as Russia is concerned, in our country there is a list of hard work in which the use of female labor is prohibited. For example, a subway train driver or a passenger plane pilot. In addition, modern society is not yet ready to see a woman, for example, a long-haul driver. Although there are such precedents. In the Soviet Union, two women were known to work on long-distance routes. And in Germany, 4% of all truckers are women.
Once upon a time there were professions for which employees of a strictly defined gender were hired. For example, only women worked as switchboard operator and secretary-machinist. Although it is interesting that the very first telephone operators were boys. They worked well, but they constantly violated the discipline and made fun of the subscribers. Therefore, they were soon replaced by girls. At the end of the last century, many fast food restaurants hired only men, fearing that pretty girls would distract the attention of the opposite sex from work. It is also believed that a woman has a place in the kitchen, but nevertheless, the best cooks are men.
If we talk about "female" spheres of activity, then the most popular vacancies for which women apply are sales assistant, secretary, assistant manager, teacher / educator … There are also a large number of women among accountants. Unfortunately, many types of work involve virtually no physical activity. And honestly, who does the industrial gymnastics recommended by SanPiN in good faith? Improper nutrition (office workers often sin with them) leads to the manifestation of excess weight. An inactive lifestyle combined with being overweight can be a serious health threat even at a fairly young age, and joints are often the first to make themselves felt.

At the same time, excessive physical activity also poses a danger to the female body, including the joints. It is in connection with the physiological characteristics of the female body, which is less enduring than the male, that in some professions, mostly men are welcomed. Women endure physical labor harder than the stronger sex - for example, almost 40% of surveyed women over 45, whose work is related to physical labor, experience joint pain (according to the Teraflex Index study, OMI commissioned by Bayer, October 2014). One of the most common diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which is often caused by unbalanced physical activity, is osteoarthritis, a chronic disease of the joints. Unfortunately, not everyone knows that the first sign of osteoarthritis is joint pain. It can be short-lived, prolonged, weak, or intense. Often, many people postpone a visit to the doctor in the hope that the pain will go away over time. However, you should not neglect a trip to a specialist - his recommendations in this case are necessary. As a therapy that can help slow the development of osteoarthritis, chondroprotectors can be prescribed - they stimulate the restoration of joint tissue.
Taking care of your health is not difficult - it will help prevent various diseases. The helpers in this matter will be proper nutrition, regular sports, long walks, timely medical examination in the clinic at the place of residence and, of course, a positive attitude. Technological progress does not stand still. Women master trains, planes and ships. For example, 58 women have already visited space. Who knows what other horizons the so-called "weaker sex" will be able to conquer in the near future?
