The artistic director of the Yermolova Theater invited the artists of his theater, as well as colleagues from Lenkom and the Mayakovsky Theater, to have fun at the skating rink on Red Square.

“This is a kind of theatrical corporate party,” Oleg Evgenievich explained to the journalists of the 7 Days portal. - Now it is fashionable to arrange inexpensive holidays. So we have an ideal option: you rent skates for 300 rubles - and go! It is both cheap and good for health."

Menshikov added that the eve of the holidays is a rather stressful time for him. “You need to celebrate the New Year in good shape and in a good mood. On holidays, many artists work. For many years in a row I have been on stage on December 31st. By tradition, on this day, our orchestra invites everyone to its New Year's performance."

Earlier, the artist said that on January 1, he and his wife would fly to rest abroad. But not for long, for 3-4 days.

Oleg Evgenievich's plans for 2016 have already been drawn up. And already in January he is preparing for the premiere. “After the New Year holidays, an active life will continue. I am putting on the play The Lucky People. The premiere will take place on January 16 and 17 next year. The action takes place in 2080, this is such a dystopia. We found a play specially written for the older generation. In any theater there are artists from 70 and above, and it is always difficult when they are out of work. There is nothing to play, there are not so many roles, and there are not so few of them …"
