The Duchess of Cambridge's style has been the subject of lively debate over the past five years. She can appear in a democratic dress at an official event and shine in diamonds at a gala reception. But in ordinary life, Kate is not much different from the average girl.

Recently, the first cover of Vogue with a snapshot of Her Ladyship appeared on the Web. The Duchess agreed to take part in a photo shoot for a special edition of the fashionable Bible and convincingly asked the editors to reflect her "private life."

“The Duchess joked that she too could be seen driving a car with curlers in her hair,” said Alexandra Schulman, editor of British Vogue. She added that like millions of girls, Kate prefers comfortable jeans and T-shirts for everyday wear.

The photo session of Her Serene Highness was carried out in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery in London, where the exhibition “100 Years of Vogue: A Century of Style” is taking place. The exhibition features two photographs of Kate. By the way, the Duchess has been the patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012.
