But all the difficulties were overcome. Today, the opening of the bridge across the Kerch Strait is the most outstanding event of 2018. This is an object of great importance both for residents and for a country that has proven its power. Today it is an object that made the whole world admire!

Will there be a fare

Due to the fact that toll highways are being actively built in Russia, drivers are interested in the question, how much does it cost to travel across the Crimean bridge? In 2018, the fee was not introduced, at the moment movement on the bridge is free, without payment.

As reported in the media, according to the words of the head of the PKU Uprdor "Taman" neither this year, nor in the future, the toll on the bridge will not be charged. Passage will be completely free.

This is due to the fact that construction and maintenance is fully funded from the federal budget. In this regard, at the level of legislation, the fee cannot be established.

This is great news both for residents of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea, and for vacationers who had to pay for the ferry. For example, from one car, vacationers had to pay 2,400 rubles for a ferry crossing.

In addition, queues were a big problem, especially during the holiday season.

The opening of the bridge and the absence of tolls on it may be a prerequisite for an increase in the flow of tourists to the Peninsula.
