Actor Robert De Niro is leaving Moscow today. As befits a celebrity, during his three days in the Russian capital, he managed to attend several social events, talk to the press, meet friends and even visit the theater.

The Hollywood star flew to Moscow on April 7 for the opening of the Japanese restaurant Nobu, of which he is a co-owner. De Niro's visit began with a meeting with friends, followed by a press conference, a visit to Ostankino, where he visited the studio of the Vremya program on Channel One.

The famous actor conquered TV presenter Yekaterina Andereeva while visiting the studio of the Vremya program: “I am delighted with Robert! - said Ekaterina Andreeva after the broadcast. “What amazed me most was how such a great actor could be so open and simple. De Niro has a very discerning eye. He seems to see right through you … To be honest, I was a little afraid of him, but he managed to dissolve my fear in his charm."

“I came with my wife and eldest son,” said the actor. - We walked around Red Square, saw some of the sights. We also met old friends, for example, Nikita Mikhalkov, Oleg Yankovsky and his family. Oleg and I have been friends for a long time, ever since I came to the Moscow International Film Festival in 1987. We had a good time and ate ice cream."

Also, Robert had time to attend a rehearsal of the play "Balaganchik" by Blok and listen to excerpts from the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar". De Niro ended his evening on April 9 in Moscow by attending the opening of Nobu, of which he is a co-owner.

It is assumed that the artist will leave Russia on a private plane this Friday, April 10, but he promised to return without fail. At a meeting with reporters, he noticed that he might someday star in a Russian film. "If there is any interesting offer, it will be great," said the celebrity.
