Required Ingredients:
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- baking powder - 20 grams;
- grated carrots - 1, 5 cups;
- walnuts - 150 grams;
- flour of 1 grade - 1 glass;
- cinnamon powder - 5 grams;
- table salt - a pinch;
- granulated sugar - 150 grams.

- chicken eggs - 4 pieces;
- large orange - 3 pieces;
- fat sour cream - 100 grams;
- raisins - 50 grams;
- baking powder - 10 grams;
- flour of the 1st grade - 2 cups;
- cognac - 50 ml;
- dried nutmeg and ginger - 2 grams each;
- white pepper and ground star anise - 2 grams each.
Cooking steps:
- Take raisins, put them in a bowl and pour cognac for half an hour. If the pie is prepared for children, its cognac is replaced with pomegranate juice.
- Rub the lemon zest with a fine grater. Carrots should be chopped with a blender to get a smoother puree. Next, the vegetable is squeezed out of the juice.
- Two oranges should be cut into thin circles, their thickness should not be more than three millimeters. The juice is simply squeezed out of the third orange.
- Put butter in a frying pan and heat, send a couple of tablespoons of granulated sugar there and pour in the juice from an orange. Immediately put orange circles in the pan and stew the composition for about ten minutes under the lid.
- To prepare the dough, put the sour cream in a bowl, put the second part of butter there, add chopped zest and all the spices. Further, granulated sugar and baking powder are added to the composition.
- Next, flour is poured into the dough, prepared carrots and raisins are added. All components are mixed until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
- Baking paper is put in the form, orange circles are laid out on the sides. Pour the dough into a container and put the rest of the oranges on top.
Bake the cake for one hour.
Carrot cake with added cinnamon

- In a separate container, mix granulated sugar with chicken eggs, beat everything lightly until fluffy. Send chopped carrots to the eggs and mix everything with a spatula.
- Put all the dry ingredients in another bowl and mix together, not forgetting about the cinnamon powder.
- The liquid components with carrots are transferred to the dry components and the smooth dough is kneaded.
- Next, vegetable fat is added to the mass and prepared raisins are added.
- A baking dish is taken, its bottom and walls are lightly greased with butter.
- Transfer the dough into the container and place the mold in the oven. The dessert is baked for forty-five minutes; an even crust should form on the surface.
