Singer Polina Gagarina is just beginning to prepare for the Eurovision Song Contest, and the bookmakers have already calculated the artist's chances of winning. And alas, the forecast does not sound too optimistic. According to the assumptions of the pros, Polina is unlikely to enter the top ten.

The specialists of the well-known bookmakers William Hill and Betfair are not asleep. As soon as the name of the Eurovision-2015 participant from Russia became known, they immediately listened to Polina's song A Million Voices and compared it with the compositions of other participants.

Meanwhile, composer Vladimir Matetsky, who took part in the work on the composition for Gagarina, noted in an interview that it is not easy to predict the results of Eurovision. “This is an organism that lives according to its own laws, which can transform over time, which periodically happens: either the“disguised”group Lordi rushes forward, or some other unusual characters. Thus, it seems to me that the competition has managed to remain in the center of media attention for so many years - you must admit, this is very difficult in our time. The controversial reputation of Eurovision is a very tricky move by its organizers, so it's no wonder that even Australia reached out to participate this year and, as far as I know, is preparing a good number."

Unfortunately, Gagarina's ballad is not rated very highly. Bookmakers believe that she will reach the final, but in the end it will only be in the top ten in terms of points - about 13th place. The highest chances of winning, according to the agencies, are now for the Italian group Il Volo with the opera Grand Amore, the Estonian duo Elina Born & Stig Rasta and the Finnish rockers Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät. The latter promise to become another sensation of the competition. The fact is that the collective consists entirely of artists with Down syndrome.

Let us remind you that this year Eurovision will be held in Vienna. Russia will perform in the first semi-final on May 19. The final of the competition will take place on May 23. Representatives of forty countries will perform at the show this year.
