The champions of the last Olympics in Sochi Adelina Sotnikova and Yulia Lipnitskaya are still recovering from the competition. The girls are in excellent mood. And on the eve of the sportswomen boasted of new cars received as a gift from the state.

Both girls received a Mercedes GL-Class as a gift. Sotnikova has already published in social networks her picture in front of a car with the caption: "With my beauty!".

15-year-old Lipnitskaya followed her example. “There is no limit to joy! Thank you thank you thank you!" - wrote the skater in the caption to the photo. Earlier, the young star told reporters that she would not drive a car yet. “Most likely, mom will be driving while. She already has a lot of driving experience. Really, I don’t know, where do we go with such a big car? - said the girl. - I used to get to trainings on my own. There was nothing special about it, but it was quick and convenient. But lately, of course, I only had to travel by car."

Recall that Adelina Sotnikova became the first figure skater in the history of Soviet and Russian figure skating, who managed to win gold in single skating at the Winter Olympics. The girl skated the program flawlessly, beating Yu-Nu Kim from South Korea, who was considered the strongest athlete.

Yulia Lipnitskaya won the women's free program of the team tournament and became the youngest winner of the gold medal of the past Games.

In single skating, the girl was less fortunate - during a free program she fell on the ice and ended up in fifth. At the same time, the figure skater turned out to be the second Russian woman, whose photo graced the cover of the authoritative edition of Time. For the cover, the editors chose a photo of Yulia, taken during the figure skater's performance at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Fukuoka, Japan in December last year.
