Renee Zellweger spoke about the new Bridget Jones

The list of the most anticipated films of 2016 has not yet been released. But film critics have already recorded the picture "Bridget Jones's Baby" in it. And the creators of the tape start a promotion campaign. To begin with, the leading actors became the stars on the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.

In the picture, the performer of the role of Bridget Renee Zellweger (Renee Zellweger) is captured with her on-screen lovers: Colin Firth, who played Mark Darcy, and Patrick Dempsey, who got the role of Darcy's rival, Mark Quant. The film was shot in Britain in October and is currently editing. According to the plot, the main character is 43 years old, she is not married and suddenly finds herself in an interesting position. Moreover, Jones cannot understand who is the father of the baby.

Discussing the project in an interview, Rene noted that her character is definitely different from the former Bridget. “She has matured. She grew up. As we all do. But there is something left. There is something in each of us that we cannot outgrow. And it’s right to tell the story of Bridget’s life at this stage.”

Bridget Jones' Baby will be released in Russia on September 29, 2016.

The third installment of the popular franchise will be released in September 2016. The film is directed by Sharon Maguire. Earlier it was clarified that the plot of the tape will not be based on the third book “Bridget Jones. Crazy about the boy”, and on the columns and essays by the writer Helen Fielding.
