The last book about the adventures of the young wizard Harry Potter was published seven years ago, but the Potterian easily holds its rightful place in the sales hits. Moreover, to date, it is the literary series that tells about the adventures of the "boy with the scar" that is recognized as the most impressive book that has the strongest impact on readers.

To identify the books that have the greatest impact on the public today, the researchers surveyed about 130,000 users of the social network Facebook. As the researchers emphasize, they did not ask to choose the "best work of literature", focusing specifically on the effects that the books produced.

As a result, J. K. Rowling won the first place. The episode about the wizard boy got 21% of the votes.

Second is To Kill a Mockingbird from the Hunger Games series, followed by JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.

Then there is again Tolkien's The Hobbit, in fifth place Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, oddly enough, the Bible was only in sixth place. And in eighth place - the Hunger Games trilogy, and in tenth - The Chronicles of Narnia.

Judging by the abundance of works in the fantasy genre in the list, the assumption is that the majority of the respondents were adolescents and young people no older than 22 years old. But as the researchers clarify, this is not the case. The average age of those who took part in the survey was 37, which once again confirms the version of observers who believe that Rowling's books are interesting to readers of almost any age.
