43-year-old Dmitry Dyuzhev once lost his entire family: 12-year-old sister, father and mother. The actor thought that this evil fate was haunting his family. He himself already believed that he would soon die, but religion helped Dyuzhev to cope with the pain.

Dmitry was born in Astrakhan. His father once worked in the Youth Theater, but during perestroika he went into business. Pyotr Valentinovich bought a cafe and a shop, so the Dyuzhev family lived more or less well off.

Dmitry also had a younger sister, Anastasia. The family lived happily until the worst happened. Nastia was diagnosed with leukemia. All the family's funds were spent on curing the girl, but the miracle did not happen. In 1998, Nastya died - she was only 12 years old.

Dmitry learned about the death of his sister while on tour in Amsterdam. Returning to his homeland, Dyuzhev could not come to his senses. Before the funeral, he even shaved his head, and during the farewell itself he could not look at Nastya, because he did not want to see his loved one dead.

The grief was especially difficult for the parents. The head of the family, in order to drown out the pain, became addicted to alcohol. He blamed himself for everything that happened, and alcohol helped him to forget. Soon, Petr Valentinovich sold the business, and with the proceeds he erected a white marble monument on his daughter's grave. After that, Dmitry's 48-year-old father committed suicide. The actor's mother could not bear another blow - she passed away from a heart attack a year after the death of her husband.

Then Dmitry's relatives began to assure that the actor's family was haunted by an evil fate. He himself believed in this and was already preparing for the fact that he would soon die too. Dyuzhev began to travel to monasteries in search of consolation and guidance. The actor even wanted to get a monk's hair in order to pray for the soul of his father, who committed suicide.

During the pilgrimage, Dmitry met a monk who told him about a prayer that helps to cope with despondency. It was in religion that Dyuzhev found his salvation. With her help, he was able to cope with all life's difficulties. In 2008, the actor married Tatyana Zaitseva, the couple have two sons: Ivan and Dmitry. The actor found a new family and now lives happily.
