Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried supported Hugh Jackman

Any man likes the support of his beloved woman at a public event. But Hugh Jackman was particularly fortunate. The day before, the Australian actor was honored with his own star on the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard. And four charming ladies supported him at the crucial moment.

Hugh was attended not only by his wife, Deborra-Lee, but also fellow artist Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried. Jackman took turns posing for photographers with all his ladies and with particular pleasure filmed with his seven-year-old daughter Ava.

The 44-year-old actor got the star number 2487. Hugh sincerely thanked those present for their attention, and his family for their support.

The musical Les Miserables will be released on December 25, so the opening of Jackman's personal star came in handy. In the new adaptation of the famous novel by Victor Hugo, Hugh played the former convict Jean Valjean, and this role has already earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

The actor himself only recently admitted that he strongly doubted his abilities when he received an offer to play in the Tom Hooper film. “You see, it was a very unusual role for me. It was necessary to be not only in excellent physical shape, but to demonstrate emotions and vocals. It seemed to me that I could not cope, for me it was too much. But my wife explained that I was just afraid of something new.”

Like Anne Hathaway, Hugh lost a lot of weight for the role and shaved his head. “Tom (Hooper) used to tell me, 'I need your buddies to stop you on the street and ask,' Are you okay? Are you sick? "Until that happens, you won't be in the role," Jackman recalls.
