Life does not stand still, and the world is changing rapidly. And, accordingly, old stereotypes are being destroyed. For example, the relatively recently appeared slogan “Life is just beginning at 40” is already outdated. Because you can try yourself in a new field even after 50, after 60, and even after 90 years.

Forget the stereotype of young models. Today, ladies over 50 successfully defile on the catwalk, 70-year-old ladies are filmed in photo shoots, and you can sign your first modeling contract at 90. The pioneer in this was 95-year-old Jane Whitlock. The lady recently signed her first contract and, of course, immediately became a star.

“I have always dreamed of becoming a model. First, the war prevented that, then I had children. Now it's time for me to shine, - says the debutante. "We were with 19-year-old models and some of the outfits looked really naughty."

Jane hopes to be a good example for others. "This is a chance for us to show the world that older women can look fabulous and that you can start modeling at any age."

By the way, the British woman turned to a modeling agency thanks to her daughter. Gloria, 69, also recently made her debut as a fashion model.

Whitlock, who once worked as a saleswoman in a shoe store, has overseen the careers of many top models. “I remember how Twiggy appeared. I was seventy when the stars Elle Macpherson and Naomi Campbell came out, when I was eighty, Kate Moss dominated the magazine covers. And now I have become a model myself. I went to this for a long time, but in the end everything worked out."
