Tutta Larsen: "Being a mother is happiness"

Tutta Larsen is a cult TV and radio host, one of the best interviewers in the country. For 10 years, starting in 1998, she was the "face" of the music channel "MTV Russia" and the favorite VJ of the youth audience. But she didn't stop there. As a true professional in her field, Tutta Larsen was in demand by many TV channels, such as: "Muz-TV", "Russia-1", "Zvezda", "Mother and Child", and radio stations: "Vesna FM", "Mayak" and Maximum. But Tatyana Romanenko (the real name of the presenter) does not sit still even now, in the seventh month of pregnancy. She launches her own television! Tutta Larsen spoke about her Napoleonic plans, as well as about the expected replenishment of the family in our interview.

Tutta, you took part in a huge number of shows on different channels. What are you doing now? Please tell us about your main current projects

- Quite.

- What is an unacceptable luxury for you?

- Hours of sleep.

- Where did you spend your last vacation?

- In Montenegro.

- Did you have a nickname as a child?

- Never.

- Are you an owl or a lark?

- An owl forced to live the life of a lark.

- How do you relieve stress?

- Sleep or wine.

- What turns you on?

- It depends on what you are talking about. In close relationships - my husband, in communication - a talented and interesting interlocutor, in the profession - the opportunity to learn something new.

- Which animal do you associate yourself with?

- I just can't associate myself with an animal.

- Do you have a talisman?

- No, I have an Orthodox cross.

- What melody is on your mobile phone?

- Soundtrack to "Sherlock" (which with Cumberbatch), but more often than not my phone is set to vibrate.

- What is your psychological age?

- It is getting closer to the calendar.

- What is your favorite aphorism?

- No problem - there are tasks.

- Now I host the In Share program on Capital FM, several programs on Vera radio and the In the Family Circle program on the Doverie TV channel. But my main project now, of course, is the launch of my own Internet TV channel TUTTA. TV. We call this subjective television, that is, we will speak and show what excites and interests me and my viewer. First of all, this is the topic of motherhood and childhood. Since now I am expecting a third baby, the first program on the channel will be devoted to pregnancy and childbirth. It will be called "What are our Clans". This will be an expert television, we will have a lot of useful information from doctors, midwives, psychologists, teachers and experienced parents. We will try to cover all issues that concern our viewers and ourselves. And we want the viewer to become a full-fledged co-author in the formation of the channel's content. Now on Planeta.ru we have thrown a cry and launched a crowdfunding project, so that viewers can participate not only as authors, but also as sponsors of our new brainchild.

How would you describe your dream show?

- I'm doing it myself! And this is so great! (Smiles.)

As you already said, a third child is expected in your family. How are you preparing for the event?

- We prepare not so much technically as psychologically, morally and spiritually. It is not customary to buy a dowry from us in advance, but something is already given to us, passed on by inheritance. We are gradually beginning to realize that we are a large family, and this warms us very much. Children rejoice, come up with names and argue with whom the baby will live in the same room. I go to gymnastics and floating, and my husband and I attend courses at the Center for Traditional Obstetrics. And, of course, with the whole family we go to church every week, confess and receive communion. And so, I can't say that our life has somehow changed a lot. My work schedule is still intense, and I have more than enough energy!

How did your two children take the news that they will soon have a brother / sister?

- They really wanted to replenish their family, so they took the news with a bang. Although when Luka was still the only one and we said that he would have a sister (he was 4, 5 years old then), he was indignant and exclaimed: “Is one child enough for you ?!” But now he has grown up and has a very positive attitude towards the kids. I, in turn, try not to load the children too much, not to tell them that the baby will be born, mom will have more trouble, and they will have to help, wash the diapers, roll the stroller. I believe that the life of older children in a family should not change dramatically with the appearance of a baby.

- What are Luke and Martha's hobbies now?

- Luka jumps on a trampoline, collects Lego and reads a lot of children's literature. He especially likes books about his peers (Luka is now 10 years old - author's note) - Dragunsky, Golyavkin, Bulychev, Pivovarova, etc. Martha (Martha 4, 5 years old - author's note) sings, and her repertoire quite specific: she is very fond of folklore, folk songs. Her favorite musicians are "Cossack Circle" and the group "Ikhtis".

- What kind of parents did you and your husband have?

- Adequate and quite empathetic. We try to be friends with children and build partnerships.

- Would you like more than three children?

- Yes. And I regret that I realized so late what happiness it is to be a mother. I could have started much earlier. But everything is in God's will and everything has its time.

You are from the Donetsk region. Do you follow the events that are happening there now? Do you still have relatives there, and if so, are they safe?

- I am from Makeyevka, and this war is going on directly in my heart. My father stayed in Donetsk with his family, my great-aunt and a bunch of acquaintances and childhood friends. But I don’t want to talk about it, because talking only adds hate and clogs the atmosphere. I just try to do something that is within my power. Help refugees, collect humanitarian aid and funds for those who are forced to survive there in inhuman conditions. Now my mother and I and other caring people are trying to take several dozen children from Donbass for a summer vacation on the Black Sea coast of Russia. You cannot imagine how many kind and generous people are around, even this tragedy has a downside: people have become much more responsive and generous, mercy and compassion awoke in us.

What are you dreaming about today?

- About peace and about my work bringing benefit and joy to people.

- Believe in God, pray to him and read the Gospel.
