Singer Lady Gaga announced last week that she would have to cancel her Born This Way Ball tour. On her blog, the star posted a message to fans, talking about a serious joint disease. Now, when Lady Gaga is about to undergo surgery and a long recovery period, she has to move in a wheelchair.

In her usual frank manner, the singer has already presented her new "companion" to the whole world. On Twitter, she posted a photo of the wheelchair and wrote, "This is Emma." Apparently, Lady Gaga is already accustomed to the new vehicle and even imbued with tender feelings for the stroller.

"Emma" should help the singer to survive the preparation for surgery and subsequent rehabilitation with minimal losses. Because of synovitis (a dangerous inflammation of the joints), the star had to cancel first four concerts, and then all the tour in the USA and Canada.

In total, 25 shows had to be canceled, leaving disappointed fans only to return tickets. There is no talk of rescheduling the concerts due to the artist's condition.

It turned out that Lady Gaga had been hiding her trauma on stage for a long time, hoping to endure the pain and end the tour. But the pain did not go away, and when the singer could no longer walk due to severe inflammation of the joints, the doctors insisted on canceling the tour. Now Lady Gaga is preparing for surgery on her right hip and is getting used to bed rest.

“I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans,” the singer wrote on her blog after learning about the disease. “I hope you can forgive me, as it is almost impossible for me to forgive myself. I hope to be cured as soon as possible. I love you, I'm very sorry."
