Singer Alexei Vorobyov is diligently making a career in cinema. The guy has already starred in several films and is now in Italy, where he is working on the film "Football Players". The artist enthusiastically acts in the film, but, unfortunately, he cannot do without incidents.

The plot of the picture by Italian director Stefano Lorenzi is built around the game of historical football (calcio storico) that existed in Florence since the 15th century and was revived in 1930. This is a kind of mixture of rugby and ultimate fighting, reminiscent of gladiatorial fights. The matches take place in June in the Plaza Santa Croce in the city center. All the characters in the film, which the director himself defines as a "comedy with a touch of bitterness," are fans or participants in one of the matches.

Alexey Vorobyov plays the role of a native of Russia, nicknamed Bimbo. And everything would be fine, but recently during the filming, the actor's face was slightly ruined.

Earlier, the producer Vorobyova said that the Italian director, after seeing films with Alexei and getting to know him personally, decided to rewrite the script and make one of the main characters a native of Russia. Katerina Gechmen-Waldeck also mentioned that Monica Bellucci might play in the film.

“It turned out to be one of the most extreme scenes in the film, when a game was being recreated that combines ultimate fighting and football. Real players entered the field with the actors, one of whom did not calculate the blow. As a result, Alexei's face was broken,”said the artist's producer Ekaterina von Gechmen-Waldeck.

According to von Gechmen-Waldeck, Vorobyev received medical attention and now he continues to participate in the filming.

It is worth noting that Alexey is already used to injuries on the set. So, in 2010, a guy was wounded by a bull during the filming of the Big Races project. And last year he was burned after he grabbed the red-hot barrel of a Kalashnikov assault rifle on the set of a military-themed film.
