The guardian or parents are not required to collect the usual package of documents and go through a medical examination with the child. Renewal takes place automatically. Two weeks before the end of the already obtained status, the FIU sends the lists to be renewed to the FMES. One of the ways to find out if the disability has been automatically renewed is to receive a certified letter containing the certificate.

First, the federal bureau sends the renewal lists to the regional offices where you live. Then the regional commission, having summed up the results of the consideration, extends the validity of the status, and only then sends a certified letter to the address where the disabled person lives.

Two days before the expiration date, a renewal notice appears on the official website, no matter whether it is a child or an adult.
