Danish experts have recently discovered another method to be happier. According to their observations, just a week of abstaining from communication in social networks dramatically reduces the level of negativity and improves mood.

Social networks today are considered not just a means of communication, but also a tool for career development, expanding the circle of acquaintances, and so on, but too frequent use of, for example, Facebook leads to the development of problems with concentration, an increase in feelings of envy and dissatisfaction with one's own life.

Experts from Denmark conducted an experiment involving 1,095 people. The participants were divided into two groups, the volunteers of the second group were convincingly asked to abandon social networks.

By the way, earlier psychotherapist Ian Kerner strongly advised couples experiencing a crisis in relationships to delete their social media account and spend more time with their other half. According to the observations of the pros, due to the prevalence of social networks and mobile phones, partners communicate less face-to-face, which leads to misunderstandings and conflicts.

The results of the experiment turned out to be quite interesting: after just a week, the participants who abandoned the social network increased their level of life satisfaction.

Of these, 88% considered themselves happy, compared with 81% of the volunteers in the second group. Facebook users felt unhappy 39% more often than those who did not use the social network, writes Medportal.kg. Moreover, by the end, the volunteers in the second group began to communicate more and had fewer problems with concentration.
