The main spring holiday is on the way. What to give mom and girlfriends? If we are talking about people who are really dear to you, you cannot do with makeup sets on duty. Invest in your time and invention. Make a gift for March 8 with your own hands. Such courtesies are not forgotten.

You can do something yourself "from scratch", but there is another, no less interesting option - decorating ready-made items. A lot of beautiful, high-quality and useful things are on sale that do not have expressive decor. But if your hands work on them, a soul will appear in them, they will become a real decoration of the interior. These can be frames and mirrors, vases, dishes, sets for the kitchen or bathroom, jewelry boxes, tablecloths, napkins and even handmade soap. So choose what you like best. The main thing is inspiration!

Here are some spectacular spring gift ideas you can make very quickly.

Mirror with a frame of roses

To implement this idea, you will need: a round or oval mirror without a frame (medium size), a garland of artificial flowers (preferably roses), a glue gun and "gold" spray paint (look at the construction market).

This is done like this:

Take a mirror and degrease its surface with alcohol. If you do not have a ready-made mirror without a frame, you can order it from a mirror workshop, it will not require large expenses. Spread a garland of artificial flowers on wrapping paper or plastic and spray it with gold paint. It shouldn't take more than two minutes. After 10-15 minutes, when the paint is dry, glue the gold garland around the mirror with a glue gun. You will have a frame of gold flowers. So a stylish gift is ready!

Original spice jars

To implement this idea, you will need empty coffee cans (according to the number of future spice jars), thick braiding wire, gold or copper acrylic paint, a glue gun, several artificial flowers to your taste, for example, roses, chrysanthemums or lilies.

This is done like this:

We don't need coffee cans themselves - we are only interested in their lids. Nowadays, many types of coffee are sold in cans with very beautiful transparent lids. Have you ever noticed that these covers are detachable? It turns out they are in two parts and the bottom is removable. These lids will be our jars, since they are transparent, it is very convenient to use them - you always see which spices are inside.

So, the top of each coffee lid will be a jar, and the top will be its lid.

Decorate the lid with a large artificial flower. To do this, cut off the inflorescence of an artificial flower, say, a poppy, from the stem, and stick it on the lid with a glue gun. Now let's deal with the jar itself: you need to make a handle for it. The handle is made of flexible wire: fold together several long pieces of wire, twist them in a spiral, wrap the jar around the "neck", and shape the rest of the handle in the form of a loop handle. Of course, the handle needs to be decorated: for this, cover it with gold or copper paint of your choice. Put the lid with the flower on a transparent jar with a woven handle - that's it. Make several of these jars - with different colors on the lids. You get a whole set for spices.

Handmade soap

Making soap yourself is very exciting, and the result is an environmentally friendly product - an excellent glycerin soap for home SPA!

To implement this idea, you will need: transparent colorless glycerin soap (you can buy it in stores like "Everything for Hobby"), a ladle, a beautiful mold, which can be a flexible baking dish or a baby cake mold, as well as various natural fillers - dried herbs, flower petals, coffee beans, dried fruits.

This is done like this:

Cut the glycerin soap into small pieces, place in a ladle and melt the soap in a water bath. Pour the soap mass about halfway into the mold, then lay out the "decorations" you have chosen, such as coffee beans. After that, fill the form to the brim and set it to cool. After about 40 minutes, the soap will harden. Now you can turn the mold over and carefully remove your creation. If the shape is difficult, lightly help yourself with a plastic disposable knife. You can't buy this kind of soap in a store!

Wonderful vase with a picture

To implement this idea, you will need a simple glass vase without decorations, stained glass paints for glass, artificial snow paste and a pearl outline on glass.

This is done like this:

Suppose you want to depict a bouquet of roses on a vase. Of course, it is not necessary to draw it! Look for a picture you like in a book or magazine, copy it and paste it inside the vase. Trace the outline of the drawing with a pearl outline on the glass. Color the drawing with stained glass paints. Make the bouquet of roses even more luxurious - add gypsophila branches to it. Draw it with the help of "artificial snow": paint the branches with paint, and the inflorescence balls - with white "snow" paste. Within four hours, the vase will dry and the exquisite gift can be presented.

"Fruit" napkins

To implement this idea, you will need ready-made textile napkins for table setting, color - white or unbleached linen, special paints for thick textiles (not for batik), as well as fresh fruits, best of all apples, pears and quince.

How it's done:

Cut the fruit in half lengthwise so that the seed pattern is visible. Pour some textile dyes into small saucers: red, yellow, orange, green. Spread the ironed napkins on a flat, flat surface.

Now, one by one, wet the halves of the fruit with different colors and "print" them on napkins. Arrange the fruit prints the way you want - you can make a solid filling or a separate composition. After two hours, when the paint is dry, fix it by ironing the napkins with an iron from the wrong side. It remains to pack and present beautifully!

Painted hot plate

To implement this idea, you will need a small ceramic tile, about 10 x 10 cm in size, paints for painting ceramics, a piece of soft drape and Moment glue.

How it's done:

Find a suitable drawing for your stand, copy it, and then transfer it to the surface of the tile using a carbon copy. You can also choose a suitable stencil.

Paint the drawing with paints on ceramics. After the paint has completely dried, bake the tiles in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees. Putting the tiles in a cold oven and taking them out of an already cooled oven is very important. Twenty minutes must be counted from the moment the oven has reached the set temperature.

Cut out a blank from the drape to the size of the tile and glue it to the reverse side of the painted tile using Moment glue. So the ceramic stand will not scratch the furniture, it will be placed gently.

You can make one stand or a whole set of several stands, their sizes can be different. This DIY gift for March 8 you can give it to mom or grandmother.
