This idea was not approved by the Government, since it was not specified where to get funds for its implementation.

The Government did not comment on another development. In it, the deputies proposed to double the size of the monthly cash payment. That is, to raise from 3 thousand rubles to 6 thousand. Provided that the beneficiary refuses a set of social services in favor of a cash payment.

Prior to that, the State Duma was offered to return 100% compensation to veterans for utility bills. Now 50% compensation applies to overhaul and payment of housing services. At the same time, payment for waste disposal is not included in the preferential discount. There was no activity on this bill.

Taking into account the growth of housing and communal services tenfold and the indexation of monthly payments to war veterans by 3-4% per year, it is difficult to even imagine the real value of this benefit.
