Gabriella, you speak and sing so well in Russian. How did you master it?

- Thank you for the compliment, but I still need to work hard and learn to pronounce the words correctly.

It was very difficult. I had a teacher, and, of course, my main teacher is my husband. But he mastered Portuguese much faster than I did Russian. The pronunciation of some words in Russian is still not given to me. (Laughs.)

You are from Brazil. Have you taken part in local carnivals?

- I did not take part in the carnivals themselves, but I performed a lot on these holidays in front of a large audience. Once I sang in a stadium in front of an audience of 130,000. It was very emotional.

Gabriella, before meeting your husband, did you think about emigrating from Brazil?

- No, but I didn’t exclude such a possibility either. At that time I already toured a lot, and I liked being in other countries.

You have been singing since the age of 7. What else do you like to do since childhood? What are your hobbies now?

- I really like to dance. Samba is a great way to lift your mood and keep your body in good shape. When I have a free minute, I turn on the music and start dancing. For me it is both a way to cheer up and move. I do a lot of dancing, but for fun we often gather with friends at my house to dance.

You and your husband have been together for many years. What helps you maintain love and respect for each other?

- Love does not require support. She either is, or she is not. For me, my husband is a friend, partner and lover. He helps and supports me in everything.

I always know that even if we have some disagreements, and they happen in all families, my husband will always find the right way out or a solution that suits both of us.

What qualities do you like in your husband that your Brazilian boys did not have?

- Reliability, responsibility, ability to be firm in their decisions. Brazilian men are very flighty and for the most part do not want to be responsible even for themselves.

What do you think Russian women should value their men for?

- There are many very smart, responsible and serious men in Russia who want to start a family and have children. Changing your place of residence does not always help you find the happiness you want. It is more important to find your soul mate, your man, with whom you will be good in any country, on any continent.

When you just started living in Russia, what were your most vivid impressions, were there any funny situations?

- In general, I am a very cheerful person, and for me the knowledge of Russia was like “one funny incident”. Much was incomprehensible and even wild to me, for example, how you can eat ice cream at sub-zero temperatures outside, or why pasta floats in the water after chicken. (Laughs.)

You have been living in Russia for about 9 years. How did you get along with people? Was it difficult for you to make friends?

- There was only one difficulty: I did not know the language. But I was lucky, me and my husband were surrounded by very hospitable and cheerful people who helped me not to feel cut off from the world because of not knowing the language. I always get along with people very easily, I try to be open to everyone. Yes, it was difficult. At some point, I even bought a ticket and flew to Rio. My husband flew for me, and I realized that our love is capable of miracles. We returned to Moscow and never parted again.

In Russia, people smile and hug a little. Did this surprise you at first? How did you adapt to the local mentality?

- In general, it seemed to me that the mentality of ordinary people is no different. People also want to love, make friends, be happy.

It is believed that people in Russia are cold and reserved, but I don't think so. I have many cheerful, energetic and temperamental friends who, like in my home country, are ready to have fun or work without being tired.

You have two children, how did you and your husband teach them to talk? What was the first language?

- I speak Portuguese with my children, and my husband speaks Russian and English, so the children know three languages well.

What inclinations, abilities do your children have? How do you develop them?

- My children are very fond of singing and dancing, and from an early age. I will definitely help them develop their abilities. But in no case do I want to indicate which future to choose for myself. This should be their decision with our parental help. Although something tells me that they are very drawn to the stage. (Laughs.) Let's see …

What Russian dishes do you eat and cook? Have your food tastes changed with the move to Russia?

- I don't really like to cook, but I learned how to make dumplings. It is very interesting to sculpt dumplings with the children, and then eat them together. A little, but tastes have changed. I began to love hot dishes and soups. (Laughs.)

What is the attitude to age in Brazil? Are women of advanced age leading an active social life or are they more concerned with their grandchildren?

- Now women do not want to grow old, not only in Brazil, but all over the world. There are many examples before my eyes. Women go in for sports, do plastic surgery, monitor nutrition, and this is great. But someone wants to devote themselves to grandchildren and the younger generation, then the choice is for the woman.

What are your most daring experiments in your career?

- I radically changed my life, having moved to Russia and decided to make my career here.

I recorded my first Russian-language album. This is a very important stage in my life for me, and I really hope that it will be successful. The album is due out in the spring.

How does your day usually go?

- Early rise, breakfast with children, then there may be fitting or rehearsal, recording at the studio, in the evening of events or performances.

Tell us the beauty secrets from Gabriella. A couple of beauty tips that help you in life?

- My main beauty advice is never to lose heart, because it all reflects on the face. If you have a smile, a good mood, then you will look much better.

The main thing for the skin is hydration. I always use moisturizing masks and creams. By the way, the most effective home remedy for cellulite is coffee grounds and flower honey. First, use ground coffee as a scrub, and then smear problem areas with a thin layer of honey and begin to "pinch" them, thus stimulating blood circulation. Honey will improve the condition of the skin, saturate it with useful substances and remove unnecessary fluid. After that, it will not be superfluous to wrap yourself with cling film and lie down, covered with a blanket or blanket, for 20-30 minutes. You will see: the skin will become unusually velvety and soft!
